I'll bet using voice software is probably not time consuming or too expensive, but it's a little inauthentic. I think using voice software enables a proper send off, but if they were going to keep him around they'd want a legit voice replacement, even if it was a little a different.

These kids do not have to be spoiled brats to cry if something is taken. Anything shocking and unexplained will do that, and such a thing can also tend to hurt the more sensitive ones.
