You should check out the movies some time.
I am hoping there is a second season, but sadly after something has been off the air that usually doesn't happen.

Re: What books are you reading?
I'm reading Terrorist Hunter by Anonymous. She investigated radical Muslims in the US before 9/11. It's really fascinating and scary to read how many signs we missed during the '90s till 2001, partly from complacency and partly from agencies not sharing information with each other.

That picture does not look like Jason.
Because he's Whit's son for one thing. For another thing-- HE's AWESOME!
and Townsend Coleman has a great voice
Then why are you here then? (jk )snubs wrote:I never did get the fascination people have with Jason.. >_>

Re: Who should Jason marry?
The actors have chemistry but I don't believe the characters do. Do you realize Connie would be marrying her former boss... Yes, he says he wants to settle down but somehow that has never happened and I have a feeling he never will. Remember when he does "settle" down for awhile he gets &...

Re: Who should Jason marry?
True, the actors have chemistry, and praise God that Odyssey has good actors. But from a real life perspective, if I was walking down the street, and I saw someone who was about to hit the big "4-0" with a girl who's probably 20, I'd be somewhat disturbed. "Oh, look, one's about to h...

Re: Who should Jason marry?
@Tiger: So why is Jason marrying someone less than half his age a good idea? We're never told how old they are; we're just given general age ranges. Trying to define the ages of Odyssey characters is really a moot point, since Jason should be in his fifties or so but acts like he's in his thirties....

Re: Odyssey + the Real World
Today I went to Star Trek Into Darkness and at the end Spock asked Kirk something like 'where are we going to go next' and what popped into my mind was the captain's line, "Over--there" from "Hidden in my Heart".

Tron: Uprising
Have you seen this show? If you haven't you are missing out. I have seen both the Tron movies and like them but this is my favorite incarnation I think. Partly because a TV series can go more in-depth than a movie can. I discovered it on Netflix but as of right now it only has one season. :( Here is...

Re: Introvert or Extrovert?
I'm a fan of the Meyers-Briggs test. I've taken it several times before but just did again to re-check and make sure my personality hasn't changed. ;P And nope! I'm still INFP. Also, I'm married to an INFJ and our relationship is pretty awesome. Just for compatibility reference. I am INFP too! I've...

Re: Dreaming of Odyssey
ok, this is weird. But then, my dreams are always weird. I had a dream last night that I was reading a really good Star Trek fan fiction. Then, like often happens in dreams, I was in the story. My ship was being attacked by space pirates, a substantial part of them being angry Vulcan women, who of c...

My pastor talked about anger and forgiveness ("love is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs" in 1 Cor. 13:5). We are going through 1 Corinthians, and have been in the love chapter for a couple months. :) I am personally glad we are studying that, because love should be our mai...

Re: What Not to Read
Wow, what's with the hate for "A Good Man is Hard to Find." I actually found that story somewhat redemptive... I actually did, in subsequent readings. edit: also, someone mentioned Moby Dick, and I'm sure others will agree. To that I can only say: you do understand there is more to writin...
