Re: Thor: The Dark World
I don't want Jane to die, but I do hope the romance is more believable here. I don't know what to say about "believable", but I actually thought that the romance in Thor was one of the best cinematic love stories I've seen in years. ...although that probably says at least as much about Th...

Re: the collective 'he'
I've occasionally seen "he" or "she" being randomly mixed up to refer to a hypothetical person, when "he" would probably have been more common before. To use it universally is kind of odd. (Then again, I wouldn't have used "he" as my go-to word for gender neut...

Before this gets in trouble for piracy, I'd like to take this moment to remind everyone within listening range that it's spelled "peek".

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
I'm worried about where MLP is going. Are they dumping the brony fandom in the dust to sell more toys? From where I'm standing, that would be the opposite of a good idea if all they cared about was selling toys and making money. (Personal opinion on the "female brony" thing: I'm fond of t...

"...the best and wisest man I have ever known."
Wait, what? He's alive? Because he must be alive if he can...
Did the Queen start leaning on Moffat to do more? Because I heard that that was what happened to Doyle.

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
I demand more Mortis. That place was weird, fascinating, and according to the DVD I watched, it drew on surprisingly fundamental concepts to the Star Wars universe as George Lucas envisioned it way, way back in the day. (There were commentaries on all sorts of other episodes, but nothing on Mortis, ...

Edit: Yeah, the quantum singularity episodes and also where the crew steals a transwarp conduit that takes them like 12,000 or however many lightyears closer to home. They reference those episodes in future episodes. Offhand, I don't know if there are any specific "quantum singularity" ep...

Re: Deep Space Nine
DS9 had the overall best episode plots. They were not necessarily as serialized as Voyager was. Voyager was a journey, but DS9 made reference to past episodes. DS9 was amazing. Hmm. I've seen a great deal more of Voyager than I have of Deep Space Nine , and I wouldn't have called Voyager "seri...

(assuming that Harry uses the real kind) Under those definitions, neither he nor anyone else in the series uses "the real kind", although Voldemort's disfigured appearance comes partly from his own meddling in things in which he should not have. I was going to say this. Harry Potter is co...
