Re: MUSICAL INSPIRATON

Superman by Five for Fighting. Always makes me tear up and can make a good character backstory. Stand and My Wish by Rascal Flatts. Just sweet songs about life. Celtic Thunder anything, but especially Heartland and Caledonia. How to Train Your Dragon soundtrack. Safe and Sound or Innocent by Taylor ...

Get in the Show contest!

Is anyone planning to enter the "Get in the Show" contest that AIO is running? I'm really looking forward to it, and I plan to enter! I'm on the older side of the competition, but I love reading aloud, and I have a pretty young sounding voice, so I'm going to give it a shot! It looks like ...

Re: The Hobbit

I am so excited. I think I go a little more crazy every time PJ releases another video. Why am I looking forward to the film: 1. Martin Freeman is the PERFECT Bilbo. He's cute, little, mischievous, and according to google, made of kittens. (Honestly, type "Martin Freeman" into google, and ...

Re: The Hunger Games

I don't care for the vocalist. I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan, but I thought she wounded very quavery. I do love the lyrics though, and ive found several covers that ive really enjoyed. Got the illustrated companion to THG yesterday. Amazing stills from the film, as well as more behind the scenes thing...

Re: Vegetarian vs. meat eater discussion

Yah know, I could really be a vegetarian if it wasn't for bacon. It gets me every time. I think I could probably live without all the other meats, although it would still be difficult. I really don't see why vegans don't eat animal products. I can understand meat, as it's directly injuring the anima...

Re: Nook vs. Kindle.

Your mom has a nook? I didn't know that...

I have a Kindle and a Kindle Fire. I've loved both of them. Never used a nook, but I've researched them, and I think I prefer the Kindle.

Re: I got a Kindle.

Typing this on my kindle fire now. I think it's a great alternative for those who don't want to pay a lot for something like the ipad. The battery life isn't great and it doesn't hold as much, but I still love it.

Re: What is the last movie you saw?

Just watched Ballet Shoes for the first time. I LOVE the novel, and I actually enjoyed the film more than i thought I would. Unlike a lot of adaptations, it kept the film pretty close to the book. Five star movie!

Re: BBC Robin Hood Fan Club Thread

To all the Robin Hood fans, who is your favorite character in the movie? (Aside from Robin. ;) ) Robin will never be my favorite for some reason. Guy is my favorite, because of his conflicted nature, and I really believe he wants to be good at times. After that, Allan, who always makes me smile eve...

I use the word 'awesome' for everything. I know it drives my mom crazy, and I'm trying to break that habit.

Re: What is the last movie you saw?

I'm rewatching The Young Victoria right now. It's such a cute movie, I'd forgotten how much I loved it! Albert is adorable, and Emily Blunt was a wonderful Victoria.

They're awesome!!! I've read all ten, the Lost Stories, and the Brotherband Chronicles. I think it will be interesting to see if Will and Halt make an appearance in the Brotherband Chronicles.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER!!! PLEASE don't click if you haven't finished the series!
After Prim's death, when Katniss begins screaming at Buttercup, "She's dead! She's dead!" That was the only place I cried in the series, just from the raw emotion and grief.

Re: What books are you reading?

I am currently reading Goliath, the third book in the Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld, and Jane Eyre. Jane Eyre is honestly tearing my life apart. This is the first time I've ever read it, and I've experienced each shock and surprise along with Jane. I've screamed at Rochester over and over aga...

Re: Adam Young is the Bomb

I am marrying Adam Young one day. And no one is going to stop me. Honestly, the man writes songs about GOING TO THE DENTIST and METEOR SHOWERS and isn't afraid to admit that he cried at the end of Tangled! His music is uplifting, sweet, encouraging, and all in all what gets me through the day often.

Re: I got a Kindle.

My Man Jeeves, by P. G. Wodehouse. Hilarious short stories about rich bumbling idiot Bertie Wodehouse, and his incredible valet, Jeeves, who solves all his problems for him. Wodehouse has a great sense of humor, and I was cracking up by page two.
