Re: Arrow
Thoughts on Blast Radius: I thought this was a pretty good episode. I missed the comments about Laurel's drug habits at first (which confirm they are unneeded drugs, not antidepressants or something). That's kind of sad. The other thing is that I felt the thing with Blood's mother was revealed too s...

Re: Agents of SHIELD
Personally, I think when the machine exploded, it imbued the boy with the freeze powers.
This has got to be one of the best episodes yet. I really hope SHIELD stays at this quality for the rest of the season.

Re: BBC's "Sherlock" Series
I have three things to say about the third episode:
YES YES YES!
I am so glad he is back. Sherlock did it his way, he can do it too.

Re: What books are you reading?
I finally finished Allegiant by Veronica Roth (pretty good) and am now ready for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. I'm also still suffering through Emma by Jane Austen. I'm unsure of whether to hit my head with something hard to forget all knowledge of the book or to laugh uproa...

Re: Arrow
Thoughts on Three Ghosts (in no particular order): Tommy's back! Awesome. Good to see him (except Oliver's ghosts seemed to all have different points: Slade said he wasn't a hero, Tommy said he was. Then again, that was part of Oliver's thought progression as the episode continued). Laurel's back! I...

Re: Arrow
Okay I finally got caught up to the most recent episode The Scientist . Some thoughts: Barry Allen seems to be a strong character, but I don't know if he would be able to carry his own show. Still, with the right training and a good supporting cast, he would probably do okay. Felicity and Barry? I t...

Re: What books are you reading?
People shouldn't write books from more than one person's POV if they're using first person because it's really hard to make them sound different. And yet, somehow, books like 50 Shades of Gray, Twilight, and the Delirium trilogy get printed :( As someone writing a series in first person from multip...

Re: Agents of SHIELD
Well. Episode 9 was pretty good. We found out what happened between May and Ward last episode. And we found out a bit about May's back story. No more Coulson back story (unfortunately). I thought the end (tag?) scene was a little dumb, but at least it showed May was starting to move on. And, while t...

Re: The Biggest Doctor Who Spoiler EVER
I don't remember them wanting to destroy the universe, I just thought that bringing back Gallifrey within close proximity would destroy Earth. :-k As I remember it (which could be wrong) the Timelords were trying to destroy all physical beings and turn themselves into spirits who would live on past...

Re: Arrow
ACK! How can they do this to us? Spoiler about Episode 7: State Vs Queen First they throw the island arrowhead out as if it's some kind of magic talisman making people super (which made me wonder whether Thea was becoming super) then they bring Merlyn back. Then they say Merlyn is Thea's dad! ...

The new episode was much better than some of the previous. Maybe the best so far. A good solid episode. I'm thinking it has finally hit its stride.

Okay, I'm caught up now. Interesting. I can't comment about whether I guessed about Black Canary or not (cause I got spoiled. :( ) But I was expecting her not to have died. Maybe that's just me, or it being a comic book show, but I'm very distrustful of people actually dying. Basically 'cause it's s...

Re: Arrow
I've now watched episode one. Wow. What a way to start a season. Great character development on Oliver. Felicity and Diggle have good chemistry. Oliver changing his ways was awesome. I totally did not comprehend the sunken boat at the beginning of the episode until reading BC's post. That makes sens...

Re: Sports Discussion The Good The Bad And The C'mon Man!
The same NFL record tied twice in one season! That's quite a feat. Especially considering no one has tied it since 1969. Though some say it is not such a feat since the 7 TDs were performed against Oakland. Any thoughts?
