Re: 733: Big Trouble Under the Big Top
But, Tiger Pooh, (still haven't come up with a good pet name for you) people's opinions' don't change reality. The fact is, a book can be poorly written. There can be grammatical mistakes, there can be headjumping, there can be poorly constructed characters with little depth. Still, we cannot prove ...

Re: How Relevant Are Message Boards In The AIO Community?
It's not a huge community we're talking about here. If it keeps trying to be split between various sites, the portions won't be able to sustain themselves. The ToO did well early on because it was THE site to go to. The Town Hall couldn't survive any longer when The ToO won its audience. But then p...

Re: AIO Frozen Parody - Do You Want to to Have Adventure?
Already listened to this on your blog, and I adore it. I'm anxious to see what all you ToOites think. I'm trying to write an AIO parody msyelf, and finding how difficult it is.

Re: ToO & SS Merger
I don't think it's a good idea. SS has a lot of younger members...whereas the ToO, has more of the adult topics/debates. Plus, I think the maturity level is too great a gap for a merge. You ToOites keep making somewhat unkind comments about we Soda Shoppers maturity. To quote Father Gilbert, "...

But well, here it's been approximately twenty days since the big news came. It's hard not to do just a bit of quick braggin' here. All that had to...

Re: Split Episode Reviews!
Some of the attempts at humor were lame. (Abrey singing horribly and then someone performing the cliche of paying her to stop.) But as far as character development, upon reflection, you're quite wrong there was nothing imature for example about making a Whit robot if the children wanted it. The only...

Re: Split Episode Reviews!
I do happen to like those episodes with Liz, but that's not the point. In the Eternal Birthday and such, she's fairly friendly and seems sociable. They seem an important part of her evolution.

Re: Split Episode Reviews!
Split episodes are one of the best things that ever happened to AIO. We got more jokes and character development per mile and thanks to the shorts various new writers got to give AIO a spin. Writers such such as John Bebee, co-writer of Odyssey Sings, writer and director of Fairy Tal-E-Vision. Witho...

Re: What Not to Watch
Well both are based on Nicholas Sparks books whose main goal in life is pretty much to get people to cry over cliche and contrived love stories. :P Are you saying there are romances that aren't cliched? Even Romeo and Juliet, the greatest romance of all time, is cliched. The love story is a formula.

Re: Adventures in Odyssey Headcanons
Good heavnes, Tigress. That's all rather interesting. What else? Does Wooton have a vineyard to make grape juice for floats in? I like to think... Emily will someday have further romance with Buck but eventually marry Matthew. Jason is still in contact with Monica. Mrs. Kramer is now a part of June'...

Grrr, the malt balls were provided by the pastor to motivate them and be given to them on the condition (which the kids agreed to) they rocked the night through. When Whit came, they had already forfeited the malt balls by being asleep.

Re: A Friendly Discussion of Catholicism
Also to draw this into a larger debate we've been having for quite awhile. Even saying that is an accurate quote, which I am not, has this been the teaching of the Catholic church since the beginning? In short, no, it is not. :) The teaching of the Catholic Church has always been something called &...

So glad you enjoyed this one, and by the way, thank you for being so understanding of my disagreements with you earlier. It's good to com across a reviewer who liked Grandma's Christmas visit, that one got more rebuttal than it at all deserved. I would like to call just one point you made, if I may:...

Re: 733: Big Trouble Under the Big Top
So again, that's doesn't make the episode objectively bad. The episode is objectively good, though that doesn't mean it's to everyone's tastes. Agreed? Hmm...I find this to be a bit of an oxymoron. If you find something to be good, it's usually a matter of your subjective opinion and not of objecti...

Re: 733: Big Trouble Under the Big Top
First off, to everyone: I held up the opinions as opinions from people who are authoritative in taste as the AIO fan world goes. Of course you are all entitled to your opinions, nor are your opinions necessarily wrong. That just goes without saying. I didn't mean to indicate otherwise. Wow, it's awe...

Hrm, well, it just seems odd to not want the exact same show to return, but it makes sense if that's what you wanted. It's certainly an understandable expectations. True, but just because other people don't love the album as much as you do, doesn't mean you have to enjoy it any less! I know it can b...

Perhaprs your right.
We are indeed appreciators of animated voice-over. *shake* Though to be honest, I've never watched much of Animainiacs, unfortunately. Though I liked it when I checked it out once. I enjoy your youtube channel incidentally.
How did you like/how are you liking season four?
