Re: The Ties that Bind
I have heard the whole album so it is hard to keep the eps "separate" in my mind. I will check out the soda shop. I am sad about the weekly discussion being passé. It was one of the things I enjoyed most about this site.

Re: Connie/Eugene playlist
War of Words does not even sound familiar, have to check it out! This is for a very long plane ride so I was thinking favorites, but if it also has a deeper theme, that is ok too. I do not sleep on planes, so the more my mind is occupied, the easier I can "rest" (as in sit quietly with Eye...

Re: Age to introduce kids to AIO?
actually the split era eps are good for really young kids, even though some fans hate them. Sunset Bowlawater is one of my favorites!

Connie/Eugene playlist
Now is the time to start thinking about my travel Eugene/ Connie playlist. What are some of your favorite eps? Off the top of my head is of course Connie as it is Connie's salvation story and introduces Eugene even though they do not actually interact that much. Suspicous Minds is great, Applesauce,...

Re: Connie/Eugene eps
hm.......maybe I should do a connie/Eugene playlist too. that could be fun. I love the one where they each think the other has stolen money from whit's end and Bernard is watching from behind the flower pot. there could be something here.

Re: How Relevant Are Message Boards In The AIO Community?
I can understand that, but I feel that once the album has starting airing on the radio and the weekend onlne broadcast, then it is fair game for discussion (the current ep, not future spoilers). But then, I am a person that truly does not mind spoilers in tv, Movies, etc especially if it is "ba...

Connie/Eugene eps
Listening to Love is in the Air for my new playlist reminds me that there was Another episode when Whit thought Connie and Eugene were having a romance. Does anyone remember which episode that is?

Jennifer's 2014 Travel Playlist
After 6 years in Sweden, we are finally going back to visit Texas (the US)! AS I do not sleep on airplanes (8-10 hour flight and 18-30 hour total journey), I am creating new playlist to transfer to my Samsung Galaxy S5 media device (not phone). I refuse to buy Another I device. (so far anyway). It i...

Re: Age to introduce kids to AIO?
My little cousins are hooked on it, and they're always awed by how Victoria and I have the entire show and have our podcast and everything. They're 8 and 6, and they're been listening for a couple years. Their dad grew up on the show as well. that is great! I worked hard to complete my Collection a...

Re: How Relevant Are Message Boards In The AIO Community?
I think the ExClub has done a lot of damage. Those fans that are following the episodes do not have anywhere to talk about them and those that are not in the club are feeling left out. It has split an already limited fan base.

Re: How Relevant Are Message Boards In The AIO Community?
As an adult listener, it is really just a matter of time. I have watched the audience here grow up and become occupied with other things. When I was unemployed for about six years on and off, I spent a lot of time reading and looking for things to comment on. NOw, I have to make an effort to remembe...
