prayer request

My heart has been doing strange things recently and I don't mean metaphorically. I went to the doctor today- not about my heart -but I asked about it. My doctor checked my pulse. It is normal. Or was at the time. But, it has been stopping, skipping beats, speeding up and slowing down for no apparent cause. So, I have to go the hospital and get some testing done. I am not all that concerned about it. If I have a heart condition that is fatal or harmless, whatever. Life goes on. But, I am still a little scared, I guess. So, if you guys could pray for me and my family (as we don't really have the money for this to happen right now), I would really appreciate it.

Make sure you update us once the doctors know more!

I understand what you are going through. my heart flutters and it scares me a lot. The doctors don't know what is wrong and they have done a lot of tests..

have you done a heart monitor? I had one it was 24 hour....maybe longer...maybe 72 hours....anyway..that wasn't fun. They wanted to do a month long heart monitor and I said no.....though it was fun seeing the little kid's eyes bug out when I showed them the wires connected to me....I told them that I was made into a robot...LOL!

It's probably nothing too uncommon, but good that you are getting it checked. You'll definitely be in my prayers!

Just an update: My mother refuses to take me to get the test done. Oh. And I have either broken or severely sprained my ankle/foot and injured both knees, one of my shins, and my hip. And, she still won't take me to the hospital. Hm.

EDIT: Update again. My ankle injury is just a really, really bad sprain. Everything else is sorting itself out. I went and got the EKG this morning as well as very minor surgery to remove what is hopefully a bi-lobal epidermis cyst from my face. I don't know what the EKG results are yet, but I will let you know when I know.
