Prayers for my hometown

My little hometown of Byron is going through a slight rough patch right now. Last week a man was shot to death about a block from the library where I work; it's the first homicide our town has seen in forty years. Please pray for the man's family as they prepare for the funeral and move through the grieving process. The city, county and state police also need your prayers as they try to find the man who did this and try to find a reason why this happened.

Indeed, that's gotta be unsettling for everybody there. As well as possibly a little baffling for police that aren't used to this stuff happening! :shock:
