My grandmother and pretty much the entirety of my dad's side of my family needs prayers big-time right now. My grandmother had a major stroke last Sunday and right now she's in serious condition in the hospital. She can barely move her right arm and can't move her left arm at all, her speech is pretty slurred and she's having trouble swallowing. Mom and I went up to visit her this afternoon and she spent a good part of the time sleeping; if she was aware that we were there, she didn't show any sign of it.
But the worst part of it is all of the anger between my dad and his brothers and sisters. There's been tension, hurt feelings and cold shoulders between them for a few years now and this situation has exacerbated it. They all ought to be sticking together at a time like this but it seems like all they can do is yell at each other and break further apart.
