Strip down, start running-and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both and began and finished the race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed-that exhilirating finish in and with God-he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item,that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
Hebrews 12:1-4 The Message

As Christians we have been called into action. The generation that is living has the chance to be the army that Joel saw. We do need the message of God's Wrath and hate. But it needs to be directed appropriately. That is what we need to be telling the spirits behind all of the apostasy, forinication, pornography, drug, and terror problems that constantly ensue the follower of Christ. Its a whole new war and were doing the same things because its "tradition". The music isn't the way we want or the version of the bible isn't the one you want.
If your going to a church for the sole purpose of its music and are not a member of its worship team, choir, or any other form of Music minister then you need to seriously rethink your choice in churches or lok for ways to get involved and minister.
If its not the version of the bible you like then bring your own bible, don't have one then ask the church. Getting bibles into the hands of Americans is almost as easy as getting them something off the dollar menu. Or you could go a bit more creatively and ask that the verse be in several versions on the screen as that would appease and satisfy most in the crowd.
We need to be not ear pleasers nor do we need to be a hellfire generation. No! God's plan and purpose all he wants you to do is simple. 1. Believe that Jesus payed the penalty for your sins and follow him as Lord and Savior. And then 2. Just tell the story of freedom to all men and women everywhere. You don't need to argue or debate this philosphy and that philosphy. The bible tells us thats folly. Just tell them that 2,000 year old 100% undeniable story;
Of how a Father loved the world and people he created. A serpent tempted and led a women into sin as her husband followed suit. Death and Pain were then first felt on the earth. But 5,000 years later That God who loves you more then you could ever imagine, stepped into History as a man, lived a perfect sinless life, Was tempted in everything we are by Satan himself and did not fall. Tell them of the healing, the dead raised, the great love and passion with which he lived!
Then tell them of his last meal, his betrayl by a close and trusted friend, his abadonment by all, The scourging and tortue at the hands of the romans, the long walk carrying the cross, the brutal way in which he was attached to that cross, the six agonizing hours he hung on that cross, the moment when God him self turned away from his one and only son because he had taken on all of our sin, the moment he died......

Do Not stop there though! NO! Tell them of the mighty way in which the earth quaked after his death, the thunder and storm, the ways the world cried out in anguish as it felt the pain of God. Tell them of how that Temple curtain was Torn in two and now Anyone! Could have access to God! Tell them of a generous man named Joseph of Arimethea who gave Jesus his own new tomb, they way that his body was wrapped in linen, fine oils and spices, and then the tomb sealed with a great stone. Tell them of the treachery of the Pharisees. Those fools who thought a mere mans seal on a rock and a handful of soliders could prevent what was to come.

Now! Tell Them! Of how on the Sunday morning an Angel descended straight from Heaven, appeared to the Soliders who fell so afraid that they passed out and the two Women at the Tomb who went to see a dead man and the Angel told them that they were seeking a living savior, the one true God who would meet them soon! Tell them that Jesus was dead but now Lives! Forevermore!!!
Tell them how his love is more demanding then grave and stronger then the mere force of death! Its jealousy demanding as the grave and many waters can not quench it!
Oh how I pray that we would all be purged of all wickedness and evil doing! I pray that we would shine the Love of Christ to all men and in all things being the example of love and servanthood that our savior was to us! My God, My Savior, Come down in the presence of the Holy Ghost, Oh Lord we are entered into the Holy of Holies and How I beg you! I beg you my King to come quickly. Forgive us when we fail you. Help us to love others as unconditionally and follow you wherever you may lead us to!
