Actually, I've seen several people get angry at the situation and post less/even consider leaving because this story arc seems so long. In a way, I can understand why they feel frustrated. Nothing is really going on in the story arc, and Regis still has the town under his control.

I'm rapidly getting annoyed at the lack of things to do. At least with the first storyarc we actully knew what to do.. This one just seems to be getting more hopeless.. And as probably most of you know I've never really been that big a fan of storyarcs anyway.. >_>

...getoverit. k. Anyway, I think there's a key point we are missing that will trigger everything else...im searching over everything, I blieve all the info we need is in the church of Regis, obviously because the Davari theads and the last will and testament of Margaret is here.

You're a genius! I don't expect we'll find riddles or mathmetical problems at this point, Regis wouldn't allow them. But all the information we need IS contained in his church. Like The EKster pointed out, even threads about Davari and Margaret Faye are in there. This is a puzzle about using logic to solve things, not wait for some "gift" of a riddle to try and come up with an answer. We need to figure out what Regis is plotting and why he's locking the boards in McCalister Park!

We don't need clues, everything is staring us right in the face! And if we're really desperate for clues, I'm sure a quick refresher looking over Margaret Fay's thread will provide some clues for our current situation, as well as information in the Mac Lover's.

Everything is tied together, I'm sure of it.
I got this...

I haven't ever read this mysterious Margaret Faye thread. Too bad I missed out on the stuff a couple months ago. :(

I saw Mac Lover's but it only seemed to hint of Blackgaard's return... :-k

Yeah, but the underlying thing in Mac Lovers was the evilness of Shadowpaw, don't we agree?

I thought that was just a cover to clue in about Blackgaard's return. :shrugs:

If you read further in the thread, you'll see the mystery was solved a couple months ago. We both missed it. :mecry:

Well, I just read over the entire Margaret Faye topic, and I didn't see anything of use (except for a riddle from Glossman that was hinting at Blackgaard's return and doesn't help us any). But do you think any of the people that Margaret contacted before she died would have more information?

I would like to put up some answers and comments if I may:

By that logic, everything hre has told us is a lie. It says he escaped form the explosion and moved out of the country, therefore he did not freeze and re-incarnate himself. :-s Confusing.

Founder? I know he chose a nice new name but this town has stood ever since the McCalister headed west from Richmond. There's no way Blackaard actually founded this town.

Actually, in the first post
Town of Odyssey, as you knew it, is no more. Welcome to Regisville.
So, though he did not found the previoous site, too, he did indeed found what it is now: Regisville.

I think there's a key point we are missing that will trigger everything else...

Now my big clincher:

If we had found the timeline of evil back in the Margaret Faye happenings, all this could have been prevented, or at least prepared for. We can deduce this because the villans are still going along in their plotting by it. Blackgaard alludes to it in his first post:
However, our timeline did not permit me to wait any longer
[to get healed.] Which makes me wonder, were we ever meant to retrieve the timeline in the first place? Glossman got to it just before us, but if he hadn't, would someone else have? This gives me a feeling we were never meant to get it, and it was not because we were publicly discussing it that Glossman was able to. But if that was the case, why even mention it at all?

Could you enlighten me to what post you refer to? I saw nothing from Glossman but
Interesting. :-k

Actually, Glossman didn't post it himself. It was a PM that Glossman sent to the Eagle Eye account:

Phillip Glossman wrote:Good afternoon,

Thank you Eeyore for publicly posting the names of the possible accounts. You have made our job easier in finding the location of the timeline and because of your inaction, we were able to uncover the password to Eagle Eye's account. Unfortunately for everyone else, despite the amount of effort Ms. Faye went through to lead you to this account, the timeline has been destroyed and her is in vain. Our secrets are safe.

You were too slow to get here in time.
The secrets were lost, hiding our crime.
You've nothing to do, till the sheep comes back.
Rising to the top and turning things black.

How's that for a riddle!

Sincerely,

Philip Glossman
CEO Project D.O.L.L.Y

I already posted this somewhere else, but if you read the riddle, you'll see that it applies directly to what's happening right now with the Regis takeover.

This is just speculation, but I believe it was changed because this picture is from the cover of darkness before dawn, the album containing the eppisodes where Dr. Blackgaard comes to Odyssey and runs for mayor and tries to destroy the town.

I have a question about Dr. Blackgaard. We know he murdered at least one person(A Name not a Number) but I am starting to think that he also killed Greg Kelly in Waylaid in the Windy City. It is a logical conclusion based on their conversation. What do you think?

Blackgaard: Are you hungry Gregory?

Greg Kelly: Yeah, kinda

B: Well then arrange for something to eat.

Pinky: Eat?

B: Yes. Take care of Gregory. Right?

P: Sure. Come on Gregory.

GK: You can help me get out of Chicago, right? I can't afford to get caught, not again.

B: Trust me. The police will never find you.

Poisoned food perhaps?

I always assumed he (or rather Pinky) killed Greg.

But as far as murdering only two people I think your thinking to highly of Blackaard ;)

I have the unfortunate feeling that Greg Kelly's death was via a more violent method then poisoned food, but either way, I'm sure that he was killed. It's funny how as a kid you don't notice stuff like that, and then later suddely realize just exactly why Dr. Blackgaard is so happily confident that the police will never find Greg Kelly. ;)

Yeah me too. When I first heard that I thought:

"Blackaard's being nice to Greg? It sounds like he's going to really take care for of him and hide him away somewhere where he'll be safe."
