no, your contribution was sincere,... and the more people we have looking at this, the more chance we'll find something. Most of us look way deeper,... if we have someone like you finding all the obvious stuff,... we just might find something right under our noses.
Go Ryan!

Richard Maxwell wrote: Edwin Blackgaard wrote: Those wretched buffoons just shut down down my precious theatre. Surely the good people of Odyssey can do something to stop this madness from continuing! There there Edwin. Don't freak out on us, buddy. I'm sure you'll get your theater back. It's not like Regis came to Odyssey, disguised himself, and ran for mayor just so he could shut down his brother's theater. Believe me, I've worked with the guy, and if he wanted to spite you, he's got plenty of more convenient ways he could have gotten his dirty work done. If there's one thing I know about Regis, it's that he never thinks small. When he shut the Harlequin, he shut it down for a reason. I just wish I could figure out what that reason is...
Oh, but he would do that to me, Maxwell!
There are things you don't know about me... things that happened in the past.
Regis has every reason to want to get REVENGE against his brother!

No, if Regis wanted to shut the Harlequin down, he wouldn't go to all the trouble of taking over the town just to do it. There are many simpler ways to get a business closed. Revenge may be a part of this, but it can't be the only thing he's after.
Still the same, once your theater opens again, we should thoroughly investigate the building to make sure that everything is as it should be. And you should play it safe for now, Edwin.
Also, I'm sure you don't want to share the "things in your past," but it might be helpful if you did. Maybe we could get some clues about Regis' motivation that could help us stop him...

Good thoughts, Applesauce. I really need to start listening to more episodes, since I'm not that great with my AIO history.
What else, besides revenge, could Regis be chasing?

He must have left something in the Harlequin when he died. After all, he was in control of it up until that time.

Oh, but it's horrible... dreadful!
Those things... oh, I really shouldn't say... I really shouldn't... but... ALAS! The adoring public is before me! The show must go on!
Regis has many reasons to seek revenge against me...
You see, people of Odyssey... all those years ago, when we were children... I... took Regis' cookie when he wasn't looking. Mother dear wouldn't believe him when he told on me... he cried for what seemed like hours, but she wouldn't give him another one. How can any man forgive that!?
Oh, but that's not all. If only it were! While I occupied my time with theatrics, as a child Regis enjoyed playing war games with those dreadful plastic green army men. I grew weary of his constant... rat-tat-tatting and explosions and bomb sounds he was making. I just couldn't take it anymore! Surely you understand! So one day when he was away... I melted all those army men in the oven.
At long last... the sins of my past have found me out! Oh, have mercy on me, Regis!

Perhaps Regis is going to have a debut preformance when the theatre opens again under his name? And I think the best though on this topic so far has been that he may have left something there during the explosion that's he's tearing the place apar to find now.

The Harlequin(sp?) is open once again, but now Blackgaard has shut down Blackgaard's Castle until tomorrow.
It seems he is shutting down the places he seemed to have an influence over in the radio series. Hmmm....I wonder if he left something behind...... Although I don't know what.

This topic has been moved to First Church of Regisville, as it pertains to the storyarc and I do believe Regis would like to consolidate the storyarc topics in this forum.

Ok, now they shut down Whit's end? Someone suggested that they're looking for something, so I think maybe we should try to figure out what..
