I really don't care whose in charge...I could do it if needed, but maybe someone else would like to give it a shot. Whether I am "in charge" or not, I am definitely in this RPG.

With the craze that's been going on, I'm surprised no one has done this already, but would anyone be in for a Hunger Games RPG? We could use characters from the series or not from the series. I'm thinking a alternate universe 76th Hunger Games, so there is still a tumultuous relationship betwixt Peeta and Katniss, yet we can still introduce new characters.

I'll be Haymitch. Since he is the smartest character in the whole series. He set it up perfectly so he could be annoying.

I'm thinking of GMing a structured RPG on the The ToO chatroom. I'm not sure what genres people want to play, so I've created a few plot hooks for people to look over and comment on. I also need to know what days/time of day people will be available to play.
An afternoon BBQ is interrupted as portals open and monsters pour into the city. The military is helpless. As a group of university researchers, harness the alien technology to survive and fight back. (gritty survival science fiction)
A princess is kidnapped during a forest excursion and her escort slain. The king suspects a necromantic cult. As his agents, investigate these rumors and rescue the princess. (knights-and-mages high fantasy)
A salvage outpost orbiting Mars is dealing in weapons-grade androids, and probably worse. As government ‘specialists’, take a shuttle up there and shut them down for good. (tactical cyberpunk)
A transatlantic cruise goes wrong as someone begins murdering the crew and sabotaging the ship. As the surviving crew members, discover the culprit and put an end to him. Or her. Or it. (classic Victorian horror/mystery)
An old legend claims that an undiscovered treasure lies deep within the South American jungle, beneath a trapped temple, guarded by an ancient dragon. As intrepid explorers, pack up your airship and set sail for fame, fortune, and danger. (steampunk pulp adventure)
Penguin has already put in a vote for the Victorian cruise.

Depends on how much time people have for a session. I'm guessing three to five sessions, if we play for a couple hours each time.
