"We have to do this quietly," Phillips said.
"If we just rush in and take the computer they'll know something's up. Follow my lead."

Trent suddenly looked over Mandy's shoulder and two men walking up to Whit's End immediately caught his eye.

Normally, he wouldn't have given this much thought--on what day didn't two men get sighted walking into Whit's End? But this was different--it was the fact that neither man looked particularly like they wanted to be seen that aroused suspicion in Trent.

He turned back to Mandy. "Hey, Mandy? Have you seen those guys around town before?" he asked, pointing to the two men in question.

OOC: A common principle in theatre is if that you can see the audience, they can see you--Phillips walked past them a minute ago, saw them, and paid no heed.

IC: Trent, sensing that Mandy wasn't happy, thought quickly. "Look, I'm not trying to change the subject here, but come on--how many guys to you see walking into Whit's End attempting to disguise their presence? And didn't you notice Whit acting very weird, for lack of a better term? Something weird is going on."
