RPG Style Change

Postby Marvin D. » Tue Jul 26, 2011 2:28 pm

As promised, users are now given a chance to vote on which style they want for Gower's Field. Since some people had complained about the way it's currently formatted, we're giving you the choice to decide on how you want it \:D/ Now, if you don't even know what style we're using, it's currently in alphabetical order. Let me outline both styles, along with a pro and con or two from each, okay? ;)

Alphabetical Order: Currently the style we are using. It's fairly self-explanatory. The RPGs are in order from A-Z.
Pro: The RPG sign up thread, discussion thread, and roleplaying thread are all together.
Con: An RPG that han't been posted in since August 2010 can be first, because its name starts with a B, while an RPG that is active is further away, because its name begins with a T.

Most Recent: Basically, the most active topic will be first. So if the RPG roleplaying thread is active, but the sign-up thread is not, that may be further down the list.
Pro: At a glance, you can now see which RP, discussion, or sign up thread is active.
Con: To find the discussion/sign up/RP thread, you'll have to take some time to actually find it.

So, the choice is yours. Which do you want? :x Vote away!

So voters aren’t influenced by current popular opinion I would imagine.

You could have promoted it a little better though. :anxious:
I found it by accident just in time to vote.
Although, the people who should be voting on this are those that use Gower’s frequently, so they would have seen it.

My point exactly. People who use Gower's would have come in here at least once in the past week, and that way those who worry more about it would vote.
