A True Story:
This is Bennett Charle's most embarrasing Moment (occuring today):
Once upon a time Bennett liked a girl. He truly did. However one day he and his Friend (which we'll name J) were going to a place to study for upcoming exams. They studied hard, in an office located at one of the college. It was a Saturday so the college was empty and they'd have a quiet study period.
Growing very bored, Bennett and J decide to call someone: Bennett's girl that he was so fond of. J turned on the speaker so he could hear the upcoming conversation. They waited for the tone.
"I'm sorry; we're not here for a moment. Please leave a message after the tone."
Bennett hung up. "Well, I guess she's not there..."
"Nope."
"You know, rarely do I leave messages. Like ever..."
"Lalalalalala!"
"Nice song..."
"In the Jungle, the mighty Jungle, the Lion Sleeps tonight!"
"Haha! (begins reading) The Economy is based on two ecomic principles which should be identified according to the law and need or scarcity. These principles are only congruent with certain measures which in turn have us believe in a principle of economic growth. Scarcity is that precise Economic growth; deciding upon our needs and wants."
"Woah, that's almost truly fascinating."
"You know, if you call a girl, and then she says 'I need to study.' does that mean she doesn't enjoy your company?"
"Heh--I don't kno--"
Thank-you. Your message has been recorded.
Bennett and J's eyes looked around seeking the source of that haunting female voice. It was the phone next to them on the desk office. They were speechless; horrified. They were completely bewhildered. They had forgotten to turn the speaker off as well as the phone! Their whole conversation was recorded! Panicked, and forgetting what they had said; (hoping they hadn't revealed anything private) Bennett screamed in agony, he punched the phone madly. Buttons began flashing. J, calmly tried to set the phone back to normal. NOOOO!
Suddenly, they heard familiar voices:
Well, I guess she's not there..."
"Nope."
"You know, rarely do I leave messages. Like ever..."
"Lalalalalala!"
"Nice song..."
It was them! They were relistening to themselves again. But, how was that possible. It was a second chance, given by God. They listened careful to make sure nothing embarrasing was expressed. The Voice Came back on at the end of the message:
IF you would like to send this message, Press 1
Bennett stared at the phone in suspense.
If you would like to add a second part to this message, Press 2
Bennett, still, stared at it...
If you would like to erase this message and try again, Press 3
SAVED! Bennett leaped with joy, giving J a high-five. They were saved! He went down to push the button--
Too Late. Your message has been sent
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Indeed, that happened today. And I wish it hadn't since I've been attempting to study and be fully refreshed without other worries. I've been trying to call and give an explanation to the girl for our stupidity. But, she is not there...please pray for me.

I'm still trying to reach that girl...
Supposedly, though, I reached her sister and she came back late and turned on the answering machine to see what was up. She listened to it three times, not sure if it was a hoax or not. Then she went and woke up her and they listened to it together.
Yeah, so much for first impressions.

Edit: Psst! Yes, I talked to the girl today. Everything is A-Okay. Even though I was painfully humiliated, it looks as if I'm still as cool a guy than I've ever been.
