The DVD he had inserted earlier began to play. A string of extremely boring commercials tortured Taps through the night until finally, he caved. Connie had died from boredom.

Max was sleeping and then his alarm went off and he was like "got to go to my football game....." and then he got just a little carried away by listening to the radio and when he heard that Taps was he thought "someone has to punish whoever did this....." and then he grabbed a slice of pizza he had saved from last night and went to city hall

He sat down, opened a bottle of Barqs Root-Beer, and said,
"Well, all we know is that Taps is dead, that he was just a townie, and the Max posted first... Does that mean anything? Probably not, but it could be an indication of guilt... Who knows?"
