I'm all the way caught up to 53. \:D/ Not the greatest platformer. The time slow down thing is annoying. Decent though.

Breakdown of the first contest:

There is no roll order for this event, you may all roll and post your outcome whenever you wish. However, roll results will be resolved in the order they are posted so it would likely benefit your team to do it as soon as possible. Like the last contest, you may only roll once a round and cannot post your next roll until the next round.

Here is a sample round.
1) Each contestant will roll one die. You may use this one if you wish, or a real one.
2) Each contestant will post their result in the game thread.
3) Those who have posted a result may now make general posts, but may not post another result yet.
4) When all contestants have posted their result, I will resolve the outcomes in ‘real time’ (order posted), following the number string to see what progress each team makes and post the effect.
5) If neither team has won yet, all contestants will roll another die and post their next result.
6) Repeat from Step 3 as needed.

For this contest, since the rolls are cumulative for the teams, it doesn’t really matter if every individual player rolls each round, so in lieu of proxy rolls here I will just cut rounds short when we get to the inactive people to keep things moving.

Keep rolling! But you won't knock down our wall. We're at step #5.

If you haven’t been announced as out of the contest. (Which no one will be for this first one, because it’s a progress contest not an endurance one.)

This game is so much fun.

Not.

Life hasn’t been really busy lately.

Not.

Besides, technically we’re still waiting on players, not me right now.

Two months passed, and little happened. Nor was anything said.

When we finish this game in three or four years, will we have done something other than rolling dice?

Yes, you will have actually. I said from the start many of the events won’t have ‘real’ substance because there’s nothing to properly translate; however I worked to find real activities for as many as I could.

This, of course, assumes we actually make it to the end of the game, as it's been months in the work and we've hardly gotten anywhere :p

Again, I've been extremely busy with life stuff. I never hid the fact that this would take forever, it is a very ambitious event. But we will get to the end, even if I have to revise everything by then to force it along.

I think most people aren't posting because they forgot about it because it is taking so long. Or are tired of it. This kind of thing happened on the SS during a Mafia game. The game took sooooo long most everyone lost interest or forgot...so we never finished.

I just assume you take me out of the game. I don't really feel like playing for a year (or more). I mean, I actually forgot this game was still going..

No one may be taken out. We've already lost one player (deleted account) that I don't know how to handle.

Why not? If I am not going to be taken out, then I just won't post/contribute anymore....which could elongate the game, unless you act as my character.
