What do I do now that I've fallen off the bar? Or whatever that means... I'm still kind of confused...

Once everyone has rolled, bookworm will announce who has fallen off the bar.

I know that! I just don't get what it means...

When it's down to two people left on the bar, they will choose of those who have fallen off the bar who will be on their team. At least, that's how it is in the videos...

It means you have lost this contest. What that means in the long run of the game you have to wait and see. In the meantime you can role play as your character (having lost the contest) if you want, or you can just wait until things move on.

I take it you preselect which numbers will get you eliminated as the people with 5's and 6's are out?

Each round of each contest has predetermined resolutions for specific rolls, yes.
