SPRING Bingo!

Post by Laura Ingalls »

Happy First Day of Spring! \:D/ As promised in December, the spring edition of bingo is here.

Image

It should be familiar to everyone who played last time, but here is a rundown of the rules.

Game Instructions & Rules:

1. Choose 25 words from the list below. Write them down to save for yourself and PM your list.

2. All list submissions must be received by MIDNIGHT (EST) Sunday, March 24.

3. Beginning Monday, March 25, I will post 10 randomly chosen words each day (Sundays excluded). Words will be posted around 8 am EST until the first person reaches BINGO! Some days I will probably post bonus words as well.

4. Participants will want to check this thread each and every day to find out what words were called and cross them off your list.

5. As soon as you have crossed off all 25 words, please leave a comment posting “BINGO!” I will double check your list to make sure it is a good bingo and will announce the winner here. Even if someone has called “Bingo”, please continue to post “Bingo” until a winner is announced.

Prize:

The winner will receive something from me that I haven't decided yet! \:D/ Yay! Hehheheh. It will probably be some kind of fudge - perhaps my Key Lime? This will be decided later, but whatever you get it will be good, right? ;)

You played last time, right? \:D/

It's fine with me, although I'm not sure of postal regulations for food sent to Canada....if it turns out I can't send you fudge, I'll come up with something different for you. ;)

Yeah, I don't care that you won the other one....you're welcome to try again. :D I like to win lots of contests myself, I would hate it if I couldn't win twice. :P

You can never have too much spring green. :noway: I tried to make it to match the Springo style....anybody notice that? \:D/

It took me an entire minute to narrow my choices from 26 to 25. :anxious: Insects better not be chosen!

I'm excited!

I haven't gotten a list from you yet. :-

I post the first day's words at 8 tomorrow - if anyone else wants to enter, get me your entry shortly. \:D/

And the first day's words are:

I don't have a long post written about the words like the Christmas ones. :P But I do love to fly kites, although it's been a looong time. I was going to try to do that just the other day, but I was lazy and didn't want to untangle the string from last time. :anxious:

I LOVE fresh strawberries in the springtime! There's this U-pick farm near to us, and we go and pick like...$90 worth of berries. :- Most of them get frozen, and the whole kitchen is filled with bowls of sliced strawberries, cut off berry tops, and red juice spattered everywhere. \:D/

-- Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:19 am --

And Day FOUR.

Image

The wind where I live can be atrocious - yesterday it was extremely windy. In the afternoon, there was a little episode of snow (the sun was still shining) and it was blowing horizontal. Brrrrr!!! Cuts right through you. :x
