The third kidnapping has happened. The crime happened on the last page (at the time of posting) of a thread that appears on the front page of a forum or sub-forum.

Here is your clue: Demanding an inquiry

(Sorry about being so slow to get the next kidnapping up. There is less fluff because I thought it was more important to get the kidnapping up than write descriptive but unneeded evidence posts)

However, there is no evidence here. You will have to look for the get away scene to find the evidence.

This means it is either suspect 9 or 16.

I'm not sure if there was a clue, but I don't think this kidnapping is old either. If I looked through all the posts right that is =P

The fourth kidnapping has happened.

Here is the clue: pie = 3

If you want to submit your guess on who did it, PM me the suspect who did it, what tool they are holding, and where the last crime scene is. Remember that each player can only do this once.

Need one more witness account to narrow down the culprit.

Poor otters. :( I put them in a vault for a reason, but it seems I should've taken more precautions. :(

You see a medium height women flee from a pile of burning boxes clutching an otter. The thick smoke makes it hard to see, and you pass out from the fumes, and forget everything else.
Which narrows it down to Suspect 9

You win!
You have correctly solved the mystery. The criminal has been arrested and all the otters have been returned home.

Woody was the first one to solve the mystery and PM me. This was likely because he was the witness that had the last bit of information.
Bookworm was the second person to solve the mystery and PM me.

Woody get the $600 prize for correctly finding the suspect.
Bookworm, Paula, Penguin get the $600 each for active participation.
Everyone else who played gets $300 because I can't figure out who participated more just because they were a witness and who wouldn't have participated much any way.

You should get your prizes from me shortly. If I forget you, PM me I will get you your prize.

Here are my unedited notes for anyone who is interested:
suspect 1 gender: male hair-colour: black height: tall age: young
Hammer, produces dents, light, metallic
suspect 2 gender: male hair-colour: brown height: short age: old

You find a pie stand that was burnt down. However, the pie stand was very flammable, because of the petrol that was being stored inside.

However, even with a careful examination of the crime scene you don't find any clues about what tool they used or who did it.. You do find a clue suggesting the criminals get away path.
Here is your clue: Pie

(Note if you want to accuse someone this round, you send me a PM pointing to this thread or the thread the get away happened in.)

The otter struggled in her arms. Distracted by the otter, she ran right into you. As you fall to the ground, you realize that she is amazingly fit for a person who is not young.
