Even if it is common, it still doesn't answer my question. It just means that more admins choose to do so. So does anyone know why admins choose so few?
Is it that important?

Yeah, it really doesn't matter. In my opinion, when there's too many mods, that just takes away from the experience, because there's like 3 who do lots of stuff and then there's nothing for anyone else. ;)

I am very honored that Marvin and ric selected me for their moderator team. I believe my experience from the last term has given me valuable insight to continue to serve our community with the responsibility this position requires.

lol...

This page shows the number of moderators. As you can see, it's quite varied. I'd guess the average is about 14 or 15. So, one or two below the average probably isn't going to hurt anything. (Term 15 had only 11, and...oh look, the site is still here!) \:D/

Are we done here? \:D/

Nope the point was we are objecting to the low number. As it does not give as many people the opportunity to serve their fine town. Thus hindering their chances at becoming an admin. Because people will look at modding experience. And thus you make it loads easier for yourselves to win. That is what I am objecting to.

No. If you select a ton of people to be mods, then 'mod experience' quickly becomes meaningless, because just about anyone could become a mod. This is a small board with roughly 60 or so active users; even 12 moderators is really not that necessary. And really... it's not like the mods have a lot to do. ;) Just minor fixes here and there, which the more active moderators or admins usually always take care of. It's all about the excitment of getting 'selected'. If we only had the number of mods that we NEEDED, we'd only need like... 5.

I second Jelly. Does that make it acceptable now, since I'm not a mod? \:D/
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
