I would say so, yes. There just isn't need for a lot of them, however. We take care of reported posts, merge threads, delete double posts, and give input if a particular situation arises. Which at least one or two issues come up every term...with a couple small ones.

We really don't need so many mods, since there isn't that much to keep them busy with. They just get green names and all the new mods go crazy because of it. The old mods are used to it all

Joanne's not inactive, we still talk sometimes, and she's on more than you think, like she said she just doesn't post much. I trust AE's and Sam's decisions, and (not counting me of course) I think they picked really awesome Mods, and I am thrilled to work with all of them!

A slightly different note. I didn't pay attention to the elections (because of exams and long distance driving[and I stopped caring about ToO elections a while ago]), but were any opposition supporters appointed as moderators?

Only one Team made this ballot, so no.

You could have set up an absentee ballot.

It would have helped if I realised there was an election but I was obviously too busy being self-conceited, but next time....
