This board opened in April so we've only had 2 rounds of elections. If you compare the two lists of moderators, they are almost entirely different.

Last time we have Top and Eugene Blackgaard as admins and the mods were Dr. Watson, Monday, JesusFreak777, Trent DeWhite, Catspaw, mr. mellow, Bmuntz, Elf of Rivendell, and AIO Psyche.

This time, Catspaw and Bmuntz are the admins, and the mods are dancer02248, David O, Eugene Kendall, Evil Chick, Frank, J-man, Jonathan, Laura Ingalls, Me, Sonuna Hydris, and Trent DeWhite, with Eugene Blackgaard as a special global moderator.

Only 4 of those people with a position last time have a position this time, 2 of them because they were elected to higher office as admins, 1 because he was specially appointed, and 1 because he was chosen to mod again, probably as a magnanimous gesture to the losing candidates in the election.

Since each team elected gets to do their own choosing of the mods, I have no idea how next time will be handled (same vs. different) but this time you can see that basically different people were given the chance. :)

How about a happy combination of the two? :) Trent was a wonderful mod during the last term, and he also deserves some form of commendation for his impressive mayoral campaign. \:D/

Trent was a wonderful member of the Police Force last term and even if he hadn't run in the most recent campaign, he was a shoe-in to be invited back.

While I would agree completely (I did support him to become mayor!), I came up with the alternate theory because it might sound a bit disrespectful of the contributions of all the others who didn’t get to be mods again. :-$
