The Lounge!
whee.
*suddenly a large tank crashes through the wall* *and Agentpaw comes out*
I am here on a secret mission for the Paw Agency, I'm one of their agents...... or... well.... maybe not.... I was really sent here by a big marshmellow. He told me to get him a really, really big micromave oven for him, don't know why a marshmellow man would want a microwave.
Anyway, I'm here in the hope of getting that prise!

*Christina leaves her book long enough to turn down the obnoxiously loud volume on the radio and glare at the perpetrator of the hideous crime of interrupting her concentration. She then gives a clap of her hands, says primly "now, now children, play nice!", then turns back to her book, wherein, Mr. Darcy is proposing to Elizabeth for the first time! (shout with glee)*

Uh! How could you say that! It is the most insane book ever! It stinks!ek wrote:Ugh. Somehow I feel like I will be ridculed for this...but Pride and Prejudice bores me.
Uh, actually I have never read it.
But I'm sure it's good.
As somebody who owns both movie versions and the book, and is just finishing re-reading it for the fifth or so time, I may be a tad biased, but I think that Pride and Prejudice is quite lovely! Obviously it appeals to more girls than guys, but that doesn't mean that you have to hate it just because you're a guy. My brother managed to impress his friend's girlfriend by mentioning that he had seen part of both versions of the movies (since the main computer is near the TV and if my sister and I are watching something and he wants to play a computer game or go on the internet, he's stuck! ) and he's willing to admit that they aren't terrible, even if he would never go out of his way to watch them.
I love how EK's random thread has led to a discussion of Pride and Prejudice instead of ninjas or llamas or something.

Woohoo!! Want to talk about more girly things related to that? No? Too bad!!Catspaw wrote:I love how EK's random thread has led to a discussion of Pride and Prejudice instead of ninjas or llamas or something.
I went to a place in England called Box Hill where they go to picnic in Emma! Yay for big famous grassy places that are featured in literature!
