I actually just had a real life celebration.
I went to Subway for dinner, and they gave away a free cookie with each sandwich order for the leap day.
That was a nice surprise.

But YAY for February 29!!!
I knew a girl who's birthday is today. She was 12 or 13 at the time and would say that she was 3 because her birthday only came once in 4 years.
Sure, but don't let Bookworm see you say that!Taps wrote:So now she can say when she was 3 she could do 8th grade mathMimi wrote:Yeah i think it'd be awesome to have the 29th off Lee! Especially since I'm at school now.

Great, now I am going to have to use my time machine to back to the leap year just so I can get a free cookie. Thanks Bookwormbookworm wrote:I actually just had a real life celebration.

Sorry, I would have given everyone notice if I had known. It’s apparently been advertised for a while so some people knew it was going to happen, but I hadn’t heard.Taps wrote:Great, now I am going to have to use my time machine to back to the leap year just so I can get a free cookie.
