What if the the person presenting the case isn't as good as the defendant's lawyer, becaus the lawyer is way older than them? Isn't there a disadvantage there?

I don’t believe so. A decision will be made in the case based on evidence and facts, neither of which are age dependant.

I still don’t see an issue, as I said the case is decided on evidence. Manner of presentation shouldn’t affect anything.

But if it seems unfair, the structure can be adjusted to allow for a setting of prosecuting attorney vs. defense attorney if either side wishes for representation.
