A n00b, in this instance, would be someone who says something silly or out of place because they’re perhaps not familiar with message board protocol, or just because they’re new to a situation.

Catspaw’s post wasn’t n00bish because it may sound silly to some, but if you know what it was for then you’d see it’s actually historical.
I don’t believe Catspaw has any n00b posts actually. Shame on Monty.

Indeed. It also helps that Catspaw already had her mature demeanor when she joined. Age definitely has something to do with it. So for true n00b posts your best bets would be members that joined while they were younger, perhaps before they understood how things ‘work’ here.
