Switchfoot is amazing. Period. Perhaps the problem is your listening device? (CD player, MP3 player, iPod, etc.)

Wherever and whenever I listen to Switchfoot, I am completely and utterly repulsed

Another fact about Switchfoot is that at a post-Padres baseball game concert, Switchfoot brought 9000 copies of their latest album and sold every single one.

These days, most people don't care about whether or not a person can sing I care greatly. It's distracting to me...especially in worship music, when an artist doesn't have a good voice.
Beyond that, popularity is not how you should judge quality Just because a bunch of people like it...that doesn't make it good

I don't judge their music by their popularity, I judge it by what I hear. For example, I believe Rebecca St. James cannot sing. Her voice is WAY to squeaky and gross.

She's okay...I haven't really listened enough of her music to be a fair judge.
Now, what do you think of Owl City?

Listen to Owl City I'm curious to know what you think of it.
My dear friend, it is not me.
It is you.

If it's me, how come I have NEVER met a person who dislikes Switchfoot, much less hates it.
I'll listen to Owl City. Do you have a specific song you'd like me to listen to?
What do you think of Capital Lights?

You must be the head of a fan club
Yayness! And then let me know your thoughts
I've only heard one of their songs...

No, I am not. And even if I was, I would meet a lot more people than just those who were in my fan club.Musical Shutterbug wrote:You must be the head of a fan club

My favorite Switchfoot song is 'Your Love is a Song'. That and 'Gone'. Those two are awesomeness (If I may borrow the colloquialism).
My blog: http://www.jessericebooks.blogspot.com Where I talk about stuff and the book(s) I've published.

My favorite is "Dare You To Move". "Mess of Me" is another great one. I really like the classics. (Dare You To Move, Meant to Live, etc.)

I happen to like Switchfoot, even if I do agree with Musical about "Mess of Me" (and a couple other songs I can't think of right now). But I do like the older ones, like Woody mentioned.
and to Woody's criticism of Rebecca St. James, I think you're being a bit harsh I've listened to her songs for a long time and I think she sounds fine. Not brilliant, but good.

Till the end of the line.
Personally, I don't care for Switchfoot, because they're more mainstream rock than I like. I also haven't listened to Rebecca St. James since I was like, ten...
Oh! And Musical Shutterbug is right. Owl City rules.
However, kids should listen to real music. Like this song.
And this one...
Aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnndddddddddd this one
And of course:
