My wrist feels naked without it.

...which I guess it is. But it feels weird.

I wear a watch all the time. The only time it comes of is when I take a shower or when I have to clean it. I always have tan-lines there from when I wear 3/4th sleeves.

It wasn’t because of the word, it was the way you said it, which wasn’t comparable to this use.
