hey.....I'm back....for a little bit at least....what's going on?????

BTW, you might only see me on really late at night.....probably around 8 PM to 2 AM....those are the only times I can actually get on here.

for an update on my life: Hmmmm that is tough.

I'm getting Married June 6th. I'm moving with my, who is going to be my husband at that time, fiancee after the wedding on June 14th. We are going to to be working at a place called Gleanings for the Hungry and we will be doing DTS for YWAM.

the reason I haven't been coming around is because I have been writing stories.....fanfiction if you must know. I got addicted to reading it now I'm addicted to writing AND reading it. So if you see that I haven't been around....please PM me or email me.

I am busy getting my AA and will probably be going to get a english degree and go into writing and journalism or something.

that is my little update!

to reminice a little: I started at TH as Jackie...I think that was my UN....and then it became Mountain Girl, ever since then that has been my name and I have recently got a new email ( yay! no more Juno!) and IT has Mountain Girl.

I started here three years ago ( wow) and i think it was one or two years before that that i started on TH, all thanks to Mellow....I think...LOL.

I think it was Mellow who posted something about TH on JSI ( wow was that a long time ago!) and I was a little hesitant about going there.....my parents were very overprotective of me and wouldn't let me anywhere, still don't at 19, but I now have people who stick up for me! Anyway, my parents let me on TH and now here I am!

When I first started going to TH I had dial up.....boy am I old...lol.

I started on TH at the age of...........about 14.....I'm 19 now! wow, does time fly!

BTW, I can't remember who, but someone on here got me started on fan fiction, so blame her for my obsession ;). I think it was Rachael.......I think....I can't honestly say......LOL....

Hey, it's great to see you online again, Mountain Girl! :D I'm glad that you found the time to drop by to say hi! It sounds like you have some big plans for the future - it's so wonderful to hear about the plans that you and your fiancee have!

Good to see you around, Mountain Girl! Congrats on your wedding engagement. :D

"Gleanings for the Hungry" sounds like an awesome ministry. I have a couple friends who did DTS with YWAM... you're going to have a blast. \:D/

good to see you too Trent. Been a while.

Gleaning is an awesome YWAM ministry. they send fruit all over the world. It is the only one in the world to do what it does.

Gleanings dries peaches in the summer and packages dry soup mix in the winter.

The summer Gleanings is hot, long and hard, but it is worth it. It is worth that week you are there, you get closer to God, you get a good workout ( lol, come and you will see by what I mean), and you know that you have do something awesome for someone that is going hungery in another country or your own ( I think they send the fruit around the US too).

Very cool. Have you worked with Gleanings before or will this be your first time? :)

thanks JesusIsAlive nice to see you too.

Trent: I've gone three times already. The first time was sort of interesting, it was last year, summer of 2007, and it was first time being away from home and parents for more than a day or two or three....a whole week, it was nerve wracking. I have gone two times this summer, one as a volunteer and one as a summer staff member.

if you wanna know more, PM me....it is a really fun thing to do.
