Book Review Notifications

Postby LizzieG » Sun Jun 07, 2009 9:24 pm

Since there are already threads up in Whit's End to review the Passages books, as well as an entire forum for the Official Guide, if you want to review one of those books, post your review in the appropriate Whit's End thread, then come here and let us know what you wrote and where it is if you want it to count for iTally marks.

Edit by Taq: You may also review a book that has already been reviewed in the Book Reviews forum. Simply post your original review in the thread already created for that book, and post here to let us know! :)

Good idea, LizzieG! I'll be notifying you of my Darien's Rise review post haste - as soon as I finish reading it. :(

LizzieG wrote:Also, while I'm starting a whole new thread, I'm thinking that, instead of PMing me when you write a book review, it would be easier for all review notifications to be right here, in one, convenient place.

Or you could just look out for new "review" threads in this forum. ;)

Yeah, on second thought, just put Passages/Official Guide notifications here, and heed the update in the main thread about all other book reviews. :)

Consider this an official notification of my review of Darien's Rise. :)

As a side note, I'm shocked and deeply disappointed no one had posted in the review thread for over a month. :x

Would my Darien's Rise and Arin's Judgement reviews be counted for this contest, maybe? Or not? O:)

Well, I wasn't sure if they would count, since I wrote them months before the contest started. :-$

Ah, I see. Considering that you can still count the pages of Passages books if you read them within the past year, I don't see why book reviews of the same series shouldn't have that same special deal. :D

I finally reviewed "Darien's Rise" - I can't believe how long it took me to get around to reading and reviewing it, but now I've accomplished something, at least. ;)

I finally reviewed Darien's Rise. :) Took me a few days to read, and took me forever to review... oh well... hope I didn't mess anything up. I didn't have my book for reference.
