I would like to second what Taq said, and thank everyone who nominated books! Great suggestions - and while I'm complimenting everyone, nice job on the book reviews so far! :D

I was wondering, can we vote for our own nominations or should we vote for someone else?

Yey! When Heaven Weeps! Amazing book--although Sinner is probably my favorite between the two ;) I should nominate Showdown next month, just because it's amazing beyond compare. *Sigh*

I voted When Heaven Weeps, too. I'll probably nominate Sinner again next time. Hopefully I'll get in before the deadline then xD.

I voted for "When Heaven Weeps", I read it about a year ago- and absolutely loved it.

YAHOO!!! My book won!!! :D:D:D:D:D

It really is a great book and I hope you all enjoy it! :D

Again a warning though for younger readers. Some of the content is mature. The gal character is a prostitute and a drug user. There is NO language or sex or anything in the book, but it does get intense at times. I just want to make sure I warn younger readers ahead of time.

and yes it is a VERY OVERTLY Christian book, though not in an obnoxious way, so no worries there. Remember: It's a remake of a Bible story in a way you prolly wont recognize. :)

Finally don't read it if you don't want your faith to be challenged. ;)

I'm sure that the other books on the list are good as well, but I voted for "When Heaven Weeps." :D It's been years since I've read it, but it was one of the first Ted Dekker books I read, and it was very powerful. It's long past the time for me to re-read it, and this will definitely provide good motivation for all of us to read or re-read this great book. :) Thanks for recommending it, Sarah! \:D/

And two more to the Lost Books... Lunatic; Elyon. That way, the titles spell "CIRCLE"

Chosen
Infidel
Renegade
Chaos
Lunatic
Elyon.

I've been wanting to get the Martyr's Song series from the lirbrary... And since it got such a good review, I guess I'll look into that further.

Congratulations, JesusFreak777! Ted Dekker really ran away with the win here. I look forward to reading When Heaven Weeps, which I just ordered online. My local public library has some Ted Dekker books, but not this one.

Congratulations, When Heaven Weeps! ...and JesusFreak777. ;) I'm looking forward to reading that book; I haven't read any of that trilogy, but I'm rather partial to the "old Dekker" style.

Just a reminder that you can count that book's pages as double in your log! \:D/

Also, an important note: there will be no repeat authors accepted as Book of the Month candidates. Which means... this is Ted Dekker's only time in the sun. ;)

Congratulations JesusFreak777! I look forward to reading this book; it sounds like it will be great! I will have to check around to see where I can get hold of it.

Are there any other authors that can't run again? Or just Dekker, since he won?

Oh, we are picking on him. His books are so wildly popular around here that we wanted to give other authors a chance.
