Chronological order, all the way. :noway:

EDIT: Look! I started a new page! So they must be read in chronological order. \:D/

Amazon typically has good deals, but as opposed to $15, I got the complete set for $3.99 at some bargain outlet. \:D/ I already had the individual books but they are old and beat up so I figured at that price I'd get the "all in one book" version. \:D/

I'm not going to be around for the next week, but i'll stay in touch somehow...and you guys can fill me in on what book we're on and such. \:D/ I'm bringing my books to camp to read at night while all the kiddies are asleep. (I'm going to be a camp counselor next week.)

I just finished up going through them for the second time, and this past time I went through them chronologically, (which I now prefer), but I can see why new readers would start with the published order. . . To capture the Narnia magic with The LWW first.

Anyone else not have time to read as much as they would like to? I am a huge fan of Audio Books, and Audio Books dramatized, so this is how I do a majority of my "reading". I really enjoyed the FOTF Audio Drama of The Chronicles of Narnia. Reading the book is always better, but because I spend a signifant amount of my time in the car, at work, and doing things around the house, the audio versions are a fantastic option for me!

And the group consensus - at least for the moment - says we should read them chronologically. \:D/

I'll be starting The Magician's Nephew later this week. :D

Published!! :x The whole revealing thing needs to be in the order they were written. And chronologically earlier books refer to those later in the timeline with facts the reader would know if they read them in written order. They wouldn't make sense without already knowing the books. :noway:

So true, Darcie. :noway:

Anyway, I'm almost done with LWW and will be starting Prince Caspian shortly. \:D/

And what exactly is the chronological order? Do you pause during the reading of LWW to take in The Horse and His Boy, since that takes place while the Pevensies were rulers of Narnia? :noway:
