For my latest birthday, I had and ODYSSEY PARTY! I mean, I don't know many people who have/would do that. We hid all of my Odyssey Albums all over my house. (It took a while to find them). I also typed out really extravagant scavenger hunt. Trust me, it took so long to make! :D My Mom made a really cool red and yellow cake. Their were AIO decorations and my Odyssey Collection all over the place. We also had some Odyssey Knowledge games. Such as "Name as many characters you can think of in five minutes" or "Who's Speaking" where I played audio clips of AIO characters voices. It was a blast. And it was in honor of Odyssey! Thank God for Odyssey!

The Imagination Depletion Station Part 1
Scene 1
Time: 9 o’clock Monday morning.
Setting: Lawrence Hodges’ office. Desk strewn with papers and toy weapons.
Positions: Lawrence sitting at his desk putting toy weapons in briefcase.

Narrator: 10 years ago, there was a young boy named Lawrence Hodges. He had a very large imagination, and wasn’t bored enough to stay in Odyssey his whole life, so he left at age 20 to become a secret agent. And he did. Don’t ask me how….he just did. A black ops agent at that. Well, he led an ordinary life of saving food guys, killing bad guys, and averting diabolically disastrous destruction, all while fighting off ‘Destructo’. For two years he did that. But our story starts when Lawrence decided to go back to Odyssey for a visit…..
[Happy AIO music plays.]

Lawrence[putting guns into briefcase]: And that’s the last Hyperblaster. Now I’m all packed. Odyssey, here I come! [Walks toward office door. Paper airplane comes through window and hits him] Ah! What’s this? [Picks up airplane, then walks to window and looks out.] I wonder where this came from. [Opens plane.] Hah! A note with letters cut out of a magazine; so boring. Let’s see….
“Dear Mr. Hodges, an event is going to take place tomorrow in Odyssey, your hometown. I would like you to be there to see it. It involves a matter with which you are very familiar.; imagination. Seeing as how you put me away, I would like you to be in Odyssey when I set off my Imagination Depletion Station. You are probably wondering why I am telling you this; well, now that you know of my plan, there is no way you can stay away from Odyssey and let innocent people be depleted of the imaginations. Signed, Dr. Bland.”
Dr. Bland! That evil fiend! Well, I guess it’s a good thing I’m heading to Odyssey anyway; now I’ll have time to foil this dastardly scheme, and catch this evil villain.

Scene 2
Time: 12 o’clock, same day.
Setting: Whit’s End
Positions: Connie behind counter. Whit walking in.

Connie: Hi Whit!
Whit: Hello Connie.
Connie: Whit, is something wrong? You seem kinda distracted.
Whit: Look at this magazine article. [Hands Connie magazine]
Connie [reading magazine]: “Mind control scientist on the loose. Dr. Bland, one of the key conspirators of the Nova Com Scandal, escaped from a class 5 security prison on Saturday. He apparently built a mind control device out of fingernail clippers and a tissue. With it he caused the guards to disable all security measures and escort him out of the jail. There has been an all-agency search, but Dr. Bland has agents completely in the dark as to his whereabouts. Agent Jackson with the FBI says-“
Whit: You can stop there.
Connie: Wow, that’s kinda scary. I wonder if he’s out to get revenge on whoever put him away.
Whit: I wouldn’t be surprised. This man is a diabolical genius, but he is also very narrow-minded.
[Bell rings, signaling someone opening the door. Lawrence walks through.]
Connie: Lawrence! Nobody told me you were coming!
Whit [shaking Lawrence’s hand]: Hello Lawrence. You’re earlier than I expected. Connie, to answer your unspoken question, I forgot to tell you. I’m sorry.
Connie: Oh well, that’s fine I guess. So, what are you doing here Lawrence?
Lawrence: We should probably talk in your office, Mr. Whittaker.
Whit: Ok. [Motions toward the stairs.] After you, Lawrence.
[All three walk up the stairs into Whit’s office.]
Whit: So, what’s his all about? [Sits down at desk.]
Lawrence: I’m assuming you’ve heard about Dr. Bland.
Whit: That’s correct.
Lawrence: Well, he’s coming to Odyssey.
[Suspenseful music plays.]

Scene 3
Time: 1 o’clock, same day.
Setting: Dr. Blands secret hideout.
Positions: Dr. Bland at computer.

Dr. Bland: I suppose this is the part where I give my revenge monologue. Well, me evil laugh isn’t quite up to snuff, so let’s skip it. [Continues working.]
[Phone rings.]
Dr. Bland: Evil Schemes Inc., I’m Dr. Bland, how may I help you?
Lawrence: Hello Dr., it’s me, Lawrence.
Dr. Bland: Hodges! How did you get this number?
Lawrence: Yellow pages.
Dr. Bland: [Sighs] It was supposed to be good for business. Don’t bother trying to find me; this line is routed through several locations.
Lawrence: Ya, I guessed that. So, I noticed Dr. Blackgaard is the co-founder of Evil Schemes Inc. He’s dead though, right?
Dr. Bland: Yes, well, he has been replaced.
Lawrence: By who?
Dr. Bland: A distinguished person in Odyssey.
Lawrence: Let me guess, Phillip Glossman.
Dr. Bland: Uhhhhhh [hangs up.] Bore! Come here!
Bore: Yes master?
Dr. Bland: Contact Mr. Glossman. Tell him Mr. Hodges knows about him. He needs to stay hidden until 12 PM tomorrow.

Scene 4
Time: 1:15
Setting: Whit’s office.
Positions: Whit at desk.

[Phone rings.]
Whit: Hello?
Lawrence: It’s me, Lawrence. I just called Dr. Bland.
Whit: How did you get his number?
Lawrence: Yellow pages. Guess what. Dr. Bland has a partner.
Whit: Who?
Lawrence: I’m pretty sure it’s Phillip Glossman.
Whit: Isn’t he in jail?
Lawrence: I looked into it and apparently, he has some connections high up: he got a pardon.
Whit: Oh no. If he’s involved in this there’s got to be more to it than revenge.
Lawrence: That’s just what I was thinking. I’m heading to his office right now.
Whit: For what reason?
Lawrence: I need to be sure he’s involved in this before I act.
Whit: What’s your plan?
Lawrence: If he is involved in Evil Schemes Inc. that will be enough to arrest him.
Whit: He probably won’t confess to anything.
Lawrence: I have a very good record with the agency. They’ll give me a warrant.
Whit: Good luck.
Lawrence: Thanks. By the way, I was wondering if you could do a little research on this ‘Imagination Depletion Station’. It’s gotta be based on the ‘Imagination Station’. The guy has those plans, most likely.
Whit: Ok, talk to you later.
Lawrence: Ya, bye.

Scene 5
Time: 1:30
Setting: Phillip Glossmans office.
Positions: Glossman at desk.

[Someone knocks on door.]
Phillip: Come in.
[Lawrence walks in.]
Phillip: Ah, Lawrence. I’ve been expecting you.
Lawrence: That could be a confession.
Phillip: Come on Hodges. Let’s be serious. You already know that I’m working with Dr. Bland.
Lawrence: Hah! [Pulls out mini-recorder.] That’s a confession!
Phillip [nonchalantly]: Oh! How silly of me. I suppose my plan will never work now.
Lawrence [a bit puzzled]: Ok….bye. [Starts toward door.]
Phillip [pulls out gun]: Not so fast Mr. Hodges. [Picks up phone and dials.] Hello, Cronies Inc.? [pauses] Yes, I need a cronie for a few minutes. [pause] Yes, my address is 1367 Morrison. [pause] Okay, thank you.
Lawrence: Do you really think that gun is going to keep me from leaving?
Phillip: No, but he is. [Points at ceiling just as a man pops through.]
Cronie: Hello, my name is Al, I’ll be your cronie today. How may I help you?
Lawrence: How did he get here so fast!?
Phillip: The advantages of having my office in the Villain Suite. Cronies Inc. happens to be in the office right above me. [Turns to Al.] You can start by tying this man up.
Lawrence [in a British accent]: You’ll never get away with this!
Phillip: Ah, yes, you always did have quite the imagination, didn’t you.
Lawrence: You can’t do this! You- [cut off by Al putting a gag in his mouth.]
Phillip: Goodbye, Mr. Hodges. [Hits Lawrence on the head with the handle of his gun.
[Lights fade and suspenseful music plays.]

Scene 6

Narrator: Well, it seems Lawrence is in quite the predicament. Will he escape death and foil the evil plot? The only way to find out is to wait for the author to write “The Imagination Depletion Station Part 2” which may never happen. Goodbye.
[Happy AIO music plays, then fades off to give way to a late night sitcom.]

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother
