I was kind of miffed at Maddon for bringing in Montero. He's had a rough season hitting just above .200. But this just shows why Joe Maddon is the best.

Chicago finally snaps the longest championship appearance drought ever in all the major sports so history has already been made, but can they cap it off by fulfilling their destiny and winning it all?

Kyle Schwarber might be coming back! He tore up his name in the third game of the season back at the start of April and was finally cleared by the doctors to play. He should be able to DH in Cleveland and then pinch hit at Wrigley.
Last postseason he sent a homer into the Allegheny river in Pittsburgh. Then at Wrigley he sent this monster onto the scoreboard.
He remains the Cubs all time post season home run leader at 5.

Evened up heading to Chicago. Glad that one finished before the storm hit. An inning or two Thursday would have thrown schedules way off.
