Screen Captures

Do you have to have a program???

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Anything to avoid my homework right now is extremely awesome!!!!! But I think even if I wasn't trying to post as much on here as possible to avoid an essay...I still would have found that way cool.

So I guess, I am easily entertained.....but it makes life really fun!

That's precisely what I thought when I first found out about that. Seven years ago. Try doing that when you're watching a DVD on the comp though, and if you have a smart prog, it won't actually capture the dvd frame. It will just be black. It has foiled me on several occasions.

Hey--is that how people get stills from movies? I was wondering about that when I was looking through some gifs for an avvy the other day.......

Glad I'm not the only one Jonathan! Tonight is really bad. I have been trying to do homework now for quite a few hours, but keep wandering off to do things like clean out my closet or play with some new eyeshadow I got (which I have officially decided no matter what I do it looks like I am trying to be a hooker and I should just stick with the basics) or coming here......I even went and bought all sorts of ToO pointless things with my money. I was going to try and chat, but I couldn't find a chat on here. Does the ToO have a chat?

No, ToO does not yet have a chat.

As for getting stills from movies, most progs have an export still feature. I know InterVideo Win DVD does. Found that out in a hurry when I was trying to make a 3-D model of Helm's Deep and needed reference pics.

Hopefully the ToO will get a chat room soon.........even more time can be spent procrastinating in chat rooms than can be done just posting on msg boards..........although I spend a fair ammount of time procrastinating posting...............like right now I'm not procrastinating doing the dishes that were left in the sink last night (I have an alibi, I was working).........I'm procrastinating taking the clean dishes out of the dish drainer so that I can do the dishes in the sink :D

Peace Out
