Memorial Day Weekend Plans?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Memorial Day Weekend Plans?

Post by Flyah »

I know it's a couple of weeks away, but what will you be doing over Memorial Day weekend? Does Canada have this celebration? Do you visit the cemetaries, go to a parade, have a picnic, or just crash?

A friend of mine will have just been home from college for the week, and his parents are going to be out of town... so... I shall possibly stop by his house, for a spot of tea.

Memorial Day is not a holiday in Germany.

However, this Monday is a holiday here (Penecostal Monday), so we have a long week-end now. This is nice. :D

Not in the Canada in which I live. :anxious: We have something similar later in the year, I believe. Our next holiday isn't until Victoria Day, on May 23rd.

We always start our lake ministry Memorial Sunday, so lots of practicing the songs we'll be doing there. Like today we spent at least two and a half hours practicing for Sunday at church and concert after that.
I never make mistakes. I thought I did once, but I was wrong.
