The Birthday Thread

Huzzah!

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

For the first day, I didn't realize it showed our ages, either. :-s

I guess we'll be seeing a lot of "104-year olds" signing up in the days and weeks to come  . . .

Good question, frogalwyz. I guess it's just "the question" to ask on a person's birthday. Nowadays, though, whenever someone wishes me a happy birthday, I just say something to the effect of . . . but I don't feel any older! Ha. Now they can't ask me. \:D/

I was born on Tuesday, January 23, 1973. Wow 33 candles on my next cake. Is that even legal or do I need a permit from the fire department? :-k I'll have to check on that one! :D

I think thirty is the maximum candles one is permitted to have on any given cake, unless its area exceeds 144 square inches. ;)

We have several birthdays coming up this week. Be sure to wish these folks a happy one on their special day! Of course, there is no obligation to give any gift or donation, but feel free to do as such if you feel so inclined. :D

God, Grant us the peace that comes from honest dealings so that no fear of discovery will haunt our sleep May we inflict no pain, bring no shame, and seek no profit by another's loss.

Gotta love sweet sixteen, Bandit. \:D/

Less than 48 hours until Jon's birthday. Only four days until Shadowpaw's 21st.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Kidding. ;)

Less than a week. I can't wait!!!! Finally get to shut down my kids bank account. Dou you have any idea how wierd it is to walk into a bank, have the teller give you a wierd look and say, "Why do you have a DinoSaver account?" Very embarrasing.
