Unicorn proof

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

It was stuck in my head for a week, at camp, with three other girls that also had it stuck in their heads. It was awful.

It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the outcome of my quest.
It did not finish in failure, but neither in success. It didn’t finish at all. The quest lies incomplete.

That zoo was farther away from my home base than I anticipated, and despite my best efforts I was unable to fit the trip into my schedule this time.
I am very disappointed, yet still hopeful. The time until the next trip over there will be much shorter than the last one, and I will definitely make it then, so it should be okay. It’s been so long already that a bit more time passing shouldn’t make a difference. I hope.

In the meantime I’ll try not to become obsessed with tracking the creature like Captain Ahab.

That's probably a good thing, because it would be weird to say 'Thar she blows!' at a unicorn. :D

That’s right KF. Fortunately there wasn’t a licensing fee, and there’s no expiration date.

The quest continues!

I will be heading back to this state in September, and have received assurances that I will definitely make it to the zoo this time.

I still have my map and license; I am ready to go!

If we believe the KJV Bible is a 100% divinely inspired translation of the Bible, it tells us that unicorns exist! \:D/

Also, the cockatrice.

...and that is why I use the NASB. >_>

This is it!
I’ll be there from the 6th to the 21st and like I said I’ll definitely get to the zoo. I don’t know which day, but it is going to happen.
The next you’ll hear from me here will either be a report that I’ve located the creature, or that it is gone. Hopefully the former, but either way I will finally have closure.
I’m excited and nervous and can’t wait to finally do this! Wish me luck!
