ToO Chess Club

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Or members of the club could read the thread. They should be doing that anyway.

Um, can I join the tournament? It's no problem if I'm too late.

Too late for this one, sorry Joy. But I’m hoping we can have one every month. :)

@bookworm I do. Just not all the time. O:)

Oh and Joy, since you're online, we should play a game of chess right now. ;)

We can do it now, if you don’t mind pauses between my moves. I would be doing some schoolwork at the same time.

Um, it's a move per 3 days. You might want to change the settings.

SWA, when you asked me to play a game with you, I didn't know I was being forced into a tournament. >_> Luckily, there's about a 2.1% chance that I advance past the first round. ;) See you in like 5 hours, man. You can send the challenge and decide any options (like time per turn), as long as the game is still pretty standard.

Out of curiosity, why were Woody and Monty chosen as first-round byes?

Okay. You'll have to deal with pauses from me too.

Note for new chess.com people. You can play correspondence chess which will be blank days per move. Or you can head over to live chess. Make sure your opponent is on your friends list and play timed. (5, 10, 30 etc.)

Ooh. *goes to watch*

If you go to live chess and open your friends tab it should show any friends online, and there should be a ‘watch’ link if they’re in a game.
