March Madness 2014

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Sad day for the state of Michigan and a lot of our brackets. :(

Our league is now The Kings Daughter (Wisconsin) vs. bookworm (Florida)! \:D/

Another Final Four out; just one left! Fortunately it’s the one I have winning it all - Go Gators! \:D/

Aw. :( I was enjoying watching Michigan play. One of their teams is especially fun to watch. But I don't remember which one. :anxious: Maybe I only watched Michigan St.

The badgers are one of my favorite mascot in d1. My favorite would have to be lumberjacks.

I would actually be just as happy if the Badgers won, they are another of the teams I root for. I've picked the Gators to win for the last three years though, it's my bracket tradition.

The Kings Daughter is this year's tournament challenge winner! \:D/

AE second.
Sunshine third.

We probably should've had a prize. :anxious:

What a game! I was rooting for Kentucky though.

UConn is also in the women’s championship. If they sweep it will only be the second time the same school has won both in the same year.
Guess who did it the first time. UConn. That kind of stuff blows my mind.

I was glad the game wasn't as close as it usually is with under 25 seconds. Kentucky not fouling made it not feel like a championship.

Woah, that's weird. o.O When is the Woman's Championship? And do you know how many times UConn has made it very far in the NCAA? This is the first year I remember of them doing so well.

I believe it was the next day. UConn did win, so they indeed sweep the championships. And here’s a crazy note about that game, both teams went into it at 39-0 meaning whichever won it would be a perfect season. o.o

I know nothing about college basketball so I can’t answer that, I only know that the previous sweep was in 2004.

Wow, that's pretty impressive for UConn.
By the way, congratulations taking first place, TKD. \:D/
