Music for a Wedding Reception

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Music for a Wedding Reception

Post by ~JCGJ~ »

I'm going to DJ a wedding reception for a friend on Saturday, and I was wondering if y'all had any suggestions as to what I should add to my playlist. It needs to be "danceable," not inappropriate (ie. conforms to the rules of these forums), and if it's catchy, all the better. I'm looking specifically for 60's-70's Disco (because no one plays that stuff anymore, and I think it's kind of fantastic), but I'll take whatever you've got.
List away!

I would just make sure to have variety. Variety is the spice of life as they say.

I already have plenty of variety, which is why I'm looking for Disco.
