Okay, I want to know what you all did for April Fools' Day last week! \:D/ Surely there are some other pranksters besides me here on this board.

I had several small pranks planned and one larger one. Honey on the doorknob (always a good sticky surprise first thing in the morning), taped down water sprayer at the sink to soak my dad and sister, and food coloring on numerous toothbrushes (fail, no one noticed) were the small ones.
THEN came my epic, huge, went-to-a-lot-of-trouble prank that unfortunately did not go over so well. :-$ I found this idea on Pinterest - it was a delinquent parking ticket fee letter, that I personalized with my city's name, the VA state seal, my mom's info, and a made up time and place of the supposed parking violation. \:D/ Doesn't that sound great?!?!?! I made sure it was folded officialish, put it and a business reply envelope into a larger envelope that I had printed with more official looking jargon, put a real stamp on it, and fudged a sorta-real looking postmark over said stamp. I slipped it into the stack of mail that my dad brought home at the end of the day, and my mom fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. She believed it for QUITE awhile and was getting pretty worked up over having to pay over $400 dollars on this ticket. She finally spotted the April Fools message that was hidden in a string of numbers at the bottom of the letter....then she burst into tears and was very upset. Oh dear.
I thought she would get a laugh out of it, or else I would never have pulled it on her, but I was wrong! I feel terrible about that...I don't like mean pranks, just fun ones that everyone laughs at after they're over, but this one unintentionally turned into a disaster. Take that as a lesson, kiddos. Think very carefully about your April Fools Day pranks before you do them. ;)

Any cool stories of pranks you've pulled?

This didn't happen on April Fools but it was great so I will tell it. I was at a weekend retreat in the fall at a camp. At the camp we were in cabins based on grade and gender. They were spaced about 40 feet apart. So the cabin right next to us had a little service panel where you could get in and go under the cabin. So one night we sent one of my friends in there to make some bangings and scrapings on the bottom of the floor. It was a huge success. The people in the cabin,(junoir girls) totally freaked out. They had no idea what it was and completely freaked them out.
We had to tell them before we went to bed though. It was quite a spectacle. The next day we had to carry their bags down to there cars. It was such a great prank that it was worth it.

Yay! It just didn't feel like April Fool's day because I didn't get to hear about the terrible things Laura planned for her family! \:D/ Aww, your poor mom! I'm sure she knows that you didn't intend it to upset her so much. It will probably get funnier as more time passes...I hope. :anxious:

My goodness, Jehosaphat, that would be enough to freak me out!

I didn't pull any April Fool's jokes (other than the obvious one) ;) that I can think of. I also wasn't at work that day. I'm sure I would have had an assortment of pranks throughout the day (more played on me than stuff I would do myself!) if I was at work.

I was pleasantly surprised that no one pulled any pranks on me, as I don't appreciate most of them very much. A friend of mine was convinced that Chick-fil-A's chicken mighty was real, and was so heartbroken to find out it wasn't.

The best and harmless prank I've ever pulled is when I put a paper plate full of paper clips on top of the fridge for my dad. When he opened it, they all came tumbling down and went all over. It was 4 years ago, but we still find random paper clips in the fridge to this day.

One of my favorite online pranks is when we turned the Soda Shop all pink and My Little Pony themed. xD Another great one I've seen is a forum put code in somehow to make it look like a little bug was crawling in the corner of the screen..

I didn't play any pranks, but my brothers treat April 1 like a national holiday, so I was watching my back all day… :-

One of my professors prepared our entire lesson outline, homework, and lecture notes in French, handed them out and waited. It ended up being pretty funny. :)

On April Fools' Day I thought about how I needed to get on the forum and read Laura's annual thread.
I love the food coloring on toothbrush idea. It's a shame that it didn't work. :/

That is beautiful. ^_^ Enjoy being a boy and having people to prank with. Fellow girls hardly ever prank with me, I have to do most small things on my own. :P *looks at girls who backed out of collapsing the boys' tent with me*

This year I helped the church teens prank the youth group leaders car (complete with TP-ing and window paint) (may or may not have supplied the window paint), and Sunny and I made Christmas cookies to drop off at an unsuspecting acquaintance's house. \:D/

I was happily relieved that Sunny didn't pull any personal pranks on me this year. :P I will remember this year always.
