Last week of the season
Here's how it all stands:
Bookworm has secured the East and the No. 1 seed.
The Staleys have secured the West and the No. 2 seed.
Seattle has secured a playoff spot and should lock in the No. 3 seed even with a loss. I'm not sure of the tiebreaker order. The head to head record between them and Constantinople is even. So it then becomes a question of whether the next tie breaker is overall points or division record. Points would go to SK. Record to CC.
Constantinople secures a playoff spot with a win.
However. If CC loses and The Bench Coolers win. BC will take the 4th seed by virtue of the head to head tiebreaker.
Both Laura and AE have officially been eliminated from playoff contention.

Week 6:
Got another win.
I was upset about this one going in, the timing of the games was terrible for planning my lineup
Forsett was questionable for Sunday, but I needed to know if he would go or not by Thursday night because that was when my backup was playing if I needed to put him in; of course they didn't provide any information in time, so I have to make the call on instinct. I decided it was the safer play to go ahead and make the switch because even if Forsett did go, waiting so long to make the decision indicated he might be used cautiously or need to exit early. Better to use my second choice player who would go the whole game. Fortunately it worked out
It was a disappointingly lopsided showing from my players though; instead of scoring spread across the lineup which is what I want some guys had big games and some had bad ones. It evens out overall, but it's not how I want to get my wins because if one of the big games didn't happen it might not have been good enough.

Week 7:
Easy win.
Normally this week wouldn't have been in doubt at any time, being EK in the middle of the season, but as previously noted this year he is actually a genuine threat in spite of inactivity, you can't shrug him off as before. However the timing of this particular matchup found me meeting him while half of his lineup was on bye, so not an issue this time around.

Week 8:
What a matchup!
I struggled with whether or not to play Rodgers this week and finally pulled him at the last minute. I had no choice; feelings needed put aside and I had to make the smarter play. I have to be clear the decision was not made because I didn't trust him, I just had to play the numbers this one week. The Broncos D has been outstanding; Rodgers could have a good game and still be held to a low fantasy score. Situationally, it was simply a risky move at an important point in the season. Rodgers is unquestionably our guy going forward.
This would have been a great week to chat because it came down to one player in one game: my kicker. It would have really been something to experience that play out in real time with other league people.
As soon as I saw what the win rested on I was nervous. I never want a game to be decided by the kicker, in real football or fantasy. That is the most fickle position, entirely dependent on the random flow of the game; whether or not their team gets far enough down the field to try a kick, whether they're held to a kick and you get three points or they get a touchdown and you only get one; so many variables at play.
And sure enough, this one could have gone either way multiple times. It looked early on like I should be able to get the win, I only needed two kicks, but after getting one quickly the offense was suddenly shut down for most of the rest of the game. Our fantasy game ended up dead even, we were looking seriously at the possibility of a tie for only the second time in our league, the only other one being all the way back in our first season. But then I had a kick blocked late and went down by one point so it looked like gia would take it. But on a last minute drive they got back down to the red zone and looked like they would score a touchdown and we'd tie again; but they were actually held to a field goal so I won by two! And get this: if it had gone to the tiebreaker I still would have won, but only by a single point! (36-35)
What a week! The hardest fought matchup I've had so far this year; actually one of the hardest that I've had ever! Well done gia!

My bench is currently tied with my lineup, my bench has two IR one of which is the QB, and I'm still winning.
Week 9:
Solid win, though two opponents were out so it wasn't terribly difficult.
I cannot believe the score Williams put up this week! That is unheard of! O.O

(Somehow, after getting engaged, my football performance went downhill drastically. And I don't even care that much! )
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. ♡
Week 10:
I realized this was going to be a loss early on, none of my players could get anything substantial going.
Going in I knew this one would be tough, my two top scorers were on bye, making this effectively my fantasy team's bye week. Usually I consider that to be the week my quarterback is out, but this year I pretty effectively handled that one. But here everyone needed to contribute something, and too many just didn't.
It hurts a bit that there was a different play that would have gotten me the win if I had done it; but I made the call on that intentionally after careful thought, so I stand behind it and accept the consequences.

Week 11:
Redemption vs JC.
Despite a terrible game from my defense, got the win here because other positions came through.

Wow bookworm, I thought you had it in the bag. I actually signed off and stopped following the game but then the Cardinals D pulled off the impossible and wow.
Week 12:
Comfortable victory.
New kicker immediately paid off; that was great! Elsewhere in the league KF tied my most points score but I didn't lose the trophy, we share it now.

That's got to be the worst timing possible for Beckham to go and get himself suspended. Really glad I got some depth earlier. I definitely wasn't expecting Brady to go all horrible the same week though.
Though it does bring up an interesting scenario with the disparity in the playoff score with CC vs BB being both the highest scoring playoff game (Both teams combined) and being the (correction)third closest score in playoffs history with a 4 point differential. The closest being Texas Staleys (108) vs Southwood Knights (110) back in 2011.
The other interesting thing is the winner of SK vs TS today will be the lowest scoring winner in playoff history unless I put up 30 points tonight. The current holder is the Bench Coolers with 90 over 73 last year.

Week 13:
Tough matchup this week.
This is always the marquee matchup for my team, I know it's going to be hard fought. KF always puts together solid lineups. I lucked out a bit by facing him the one week Gronk didn't play, but even with that it still took a great performance to get the win. He had huge games from some players, but also had no shows from others, so I came out ahead overall.

This week has been by far the best performance of the year for me, obviously all credit goes to the Cardinals D, but even without them I was on track for my best performance. I hope the final is just as close.
Week 14:
Huge win, great game!
Another new pickup coming through huge for me right away. I've had extraordinary success with acquisitions this season!
This was just about a perfect performance. Every position but one came through really strong, and a couple huge scores compensated easily for the single shortcoming.

Bookworm post about week 15 and comment on the current match up.
Week 15:
Awesome way to close out the regular season!
This was my best week possibly ever! Not a single poor performance in the lineup, and several huge games on top including an absolutely mindblowing RB score!
And I up my own season high score by one to secure sole possession of the Most Points trophy! The first time I've maintained it at season end!
Most Points This Week
Given because you rocked the most this week. 147 points
-- 28 Dec 2015 02:58 pm --
And I once again receive the Regular Season Victor award!
Regular Season Victor
For having the best record throughout the regular season! Record: 13-2
And I earn the #1 playoff seed once again. First matchup is with JC to settle our season series currently sitting at one win each.
