any quilters?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

any quilters?

We have several very crafty people here; are any of you particularly experienced in working with quilts, or fabric materials in general? If so please PM me, I need some advice on something. Thanks :)

I read this as "quitters" at first.

Other than that, I am a seamstress, though I haven't made an actual quilt yet. *goes to pm*

You may have already gotten what you need. Belle is an amazing seamstress.

But I do have a some experience with quilting. My mom recently got into it, and I just happened to have recently made something similar to a quilt. I can't say I'm very good at sewing... at all. :anxious: But I do have a good idea about it.

I don't think you're weird for reading what was written.

To get back on topic, we recently made two quilts. I don't enjoy it, but I do know how. So there's that.

I was thinking of this thread because my mom is about to start a quilt. She has made a number of quilts over the years, but not recently. She made one for each of us kids and a few others, and just recently dug through her quilting stuff to find projects she still wants to do.
