If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I forgot about this until I saw this thread. \:D/

Maybe Tau would be more popular if it had a homonym like pi/pie does.

Pizza Hut was giving away free pizza for 3.14 years if you could solve some math problems but they were done before I heard about it. :(

I forgot again. I remembered Sunday afternoon, and then didn't think of it again until late Monday evening. I was at work, then spent the whole evening at a friend's house, and never thought of it once. Oh well. Some things just aren't meant to be, I guess. ;)

I made a key lime pie to celebrate! \:D/

The calculus teacher I knew gave birth to twins on Sunday. She was /that/ close to having Pi Day twins. :P

Haha, especially for a math teacher, that would have been fun! Oh well. She'll have to come up with a more creative mathematical formula to explain or remember the date. ;)

I wish I was at Laura's house. :yum:
