Leap Day

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Leap Day

Post by bookworm »

This is an irregular event; figured we should have a thread about it. Any special plans for anyone or is it just another day?

I really just consider it another day, especially since it's a Saturday. Maybe if it was a work day I would have thought about it differently.

My mom suggested frog legs for dinner, but thankfully, we chose not to commemorate Leap Day that way. :anxious:

I always feel like I should do something special, but I don't think there are really any traditions, so yeah. It pretty much ends up being just another day.

Haha, I never thought of frog legs! Fun idea...though not one I would ever actually use. ;) We'll have to be trendsetters and come up with a tradition, like skipping rope, then doing a leapfrog tournament, and then having a long jump competition or something. ;)

I wasn't really thinking about it, to be honest. But, I heard 7-Eleven was selling whole pizza's for $2.29. \:D/ I didn't have a chance to snag me one because I worked all afternoon/night. :boohoo:

I didn't even think to check if there were places having deals on things.

Do they do anything special for Leap Day? :anxious: I hope you had fun there! I haven't been to Toronto for years.

Fun! It's worth the trip to Canada. :D I'm glad you had a nice visit, even if you didn't leap over anything. ;)
