Mathmatical proof that girls are evil.

This thread is only in jest.

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Exactly, this is about the guy spending money, not the girl. The girl could spend absolutely no money herself, it doesn’t change the formula.
My teacher and his fiancee go back on forth on who buys dinner. :-

And hey, don't forget how GULLIBLE Adam was... A pretty face and some sweet talk and BAM he disobeys God. \:D/
Actually, if you want to get technical, Adam was not gullible, Eve was. The Bible said that Eve was deceived, but Adam knowingly sinned. Therefore, Adam is the evil one. :noway:

And boys are evil. :neener:
No, no, no, just stop. If it weren't for Eve, Adam would still be in glorious paradise, enjoying the presence of God.

Women ruin just about everything.
First, you do realize the irony of that statement considering that it was a woman who gave birth to you?

Secondly, if Adam had done his part as the husband and head of the marriage, than both he AND eve would still be in glorious paradise, enjoying the presence of God. Men are supposed to be the defenders. Adam should have stepped up, and stepped between his wife and Satan; instead he stood back and waited to see what would happen as the Devil attacked her. Ultimately it was Adam who was responsible for the fall of mankind, and now all people, both men and women, are evil.

Oh...and I would also like to mention, that it was a woman who brought our Savior into the world. And why was that? (aside from the fact that Joseph wasn't gonna be the one to give birth) It was because a bunch of Kings (who, by the way, were MALE) were stupid and EVIL enough to make God so mad that he finally told one of them that none of his descendants would ever sit on the throne.

And that is my rant on why girl's are not more evil than boys.......for the most part.

I’ve heard that claim before, and I take issue with it. Many people try to pin everything on Adam saying his letting Eve sin was actually the first sin. This is wrong. It involves too much supposition.
We don’t know what Adam did. He may have passionately attempted to dissuade his wife from sinning, the Bible doesn’t say. It doesn’t say he did, but neither does it say he just stood by and did nothing. All it says is he was there.
Ultimately, Eve’s sin was her own choice. You can’t force someone not to sin, you can only advise them against it. Adam’s failure to change her mind was not a sin. Eve’s choice to disobey God was indeed the first sin.
And as has been pointed out, Adam was not convinced by the serpent, but by his wife. If Eve had not been there it seems Adam would have still ignored the serpent, and with no second temptation would not have fallen.
So not only is it not Adam’s fault, it is clearly Eve’s.

I have never been able to understand why Adam let Eve convince him to eat the fruit. He should have just told her to get lost, and then we would all be living in paradise right now. :(

Perhaps he was trying to be a good (albeit misguided) husband by following her in the fate she had chosen.

Why can't it just be both of their faults equally? Why is it always just Eve or just Adam? They both sinned. And whoever did it, if it is solely their fault, has not made it now so that their gender is ruined FOREVER.

And at any rate, this was a joke thread. Shouldn't we split the topic into Second Church or something if we're going to get into a deep spiritual discussion over whose fault it is that we have sin, death, and pain all over the place?

Oh, it is! Absolutely. Don’t get me wrong, Adam was just as guilty of his sin. I’m not saying what he did was right, I’m saying his sin was in eating the fruit himself, not in letting his wife eat it.

I get what you're saying; I just also get that some other posters seem to be coming across that way. A lot of people come across that way, actually.

Well, then, if it is decided that we girls are evil, I suppose we had better start living up to our reputation! \:D/ *steals and overuses an innocent man's credit card*
